I was outside the other day talking to a friend in the shade...eventually the sun was shining on my left arm for about 20 min....only 20 min and now one arm is tanned and the other is not :(

I remember reading something about that. Southern Europeans have more connection to the Middle East than Ashkenazis. Calling them Jews is as dumb as claiming Ethiopians are Jews. Ashkenazis are white and those Ethiopian "Jews" are negroes. I am not even sure those Middle Eastern Jews are anything more than Arabs with a distinct cultural identity. Just like Ashkenazis in Europe.
