The Twitter account belonging to former Vice President Joe Biden was hacked on Wednesday, the account belonging to former President Barack Obama was hacked shortly after.
Also hacked, including Jeff Bezos, Kanye West, Mike Bloomberg, Elon Musk, Uber, Warren Buffet, Apple and Bill Gates.

Not necessarily. Hacking individual accounts is still possible, but not easy anymore. Hacking server level shit would be almost impossible now, due to cloud servers, multiple backups, and other security shit in place.
I may be wrong, but you'd truly need some NSA level shit (think Stuxnet) to do some major damage these days...
