It's hard to explain, as we've all seen a few in the night sky...  



When you see a lot, it's pretty impressive.

There's forest fires all around here also, from lightning strikes a day or two ago...



It's quite amazing to see a mountain lit up due to fire...  I can't photo it properly, so I don't bother...
