Goodyear rests a lot of it's reputation on the tires it provides for NASCAR but that doesn't always translate well to real world tires...If you want a good light truck or SUV tire buy Continental. If you want good car tires buy Michelin or Bridgestone. If you want a high performance street tire buy Pirelli.
I've never had luck with Goodyear tires. From my current GMC Canyon to my first car a Pontiac Fiero GT, they were shit tires. Of course they make an extensive line and there are a few highly rated tires in the bunch but there are better options on the market.
