Title: Am I Losing my Mind?

Last night I logged out of both forums I was signed into, this one and the Vancouver Forum. I like to log out now just in case my computer goes nuts and I have to take it in or something. I don't want anyone knowing anything, so to be safe I log out of everything now before shutting down. But today I open my Firefox browser (the only one I always use) and click on the links to the forums in my browser to log in. I expect to log in like I always do but I'm already logged in! I check my other log in at Vancouver Forum and I'm logged into that too. I was positive I logged out last night.



Also, at the other forum, I'm either logged out on it's own even if I have the ticked off box that says "stay logged in" or whatever. Or it won't let me log in sometimes, as if I'm typing my password wrong. It's been a bunch of times and I've had to reset my password several times a week.



Am I losing my mind? Am I being super forgetful? Is it my browser? Do I have spyware? Are my settings messed up? Is there a gremlin living inside my computer?  :?

Dang it! where oh where did I lose it? I checked in the couch, nope not there, checked under the bed, not there either. I'm starting to miss it, it's too small to be out on it's own  :cry:

Hi Fash, how was your day? Mine consisted of lots of laundry. Our old kitty girl keeps dribbling and we have to wash our bedding when she has an accident  :cry:

Oh yes it's eww! She's 17 years old and having "dribbling" problems. We have her on cranberry powder in her soft food, but she sometimes still has accidents. She's so cute and small like she's still 9 months old like when we rescued her.

She was a runt of the litter. She's super cuddly and cute and she's healthy other than her kidneys.  Too bad there aren't Depends for cat :-(

Seventeen eh? A nice ripe old age for a cat. I have a rabbit, not a cat and he's 4 years old now. No health issues yet, but he's still young.

Our old boy is 19 years old, he's almost blind and has arthritis, can hardly get up on the bed but he is super lovey and healthy :-)

Haha we also have a couple boys we adopted 2 1/2 years ago. Mikey is hubby's cat and Sparta my daughter. They are both neutered but Sparta still has his abilities LoL

why don't u encrypt your computer? your family members are still able to start the computer and to use it with guest account, but if they are curious of everything u've left on the forums, they have to enter your password to get into your account. Data are separately stored in your computer

Annie you should do what I did for my little puppy When she would go in heat and I didn't want her dabbing blood on the carpet, we would cut 3 holes in a sock (2 for legs 1 for tail) and line the back with my wifes pantie liner. It worked perfect. We only did this in the night tho cuz she would wiggle out of it through out the day



You could do this before bed so she don't tinkle on the sheets. Oh and we used toilet paper to if you don't have panty liners, Or you could ask OBI to borrow some of his.  :lol:

I don't think anyone in my family would even want to snoop and I don't have passwords written down so no one would know it other than me.  Also after 10 minutes of no computer use, it goes to screen saver and have to enter a password to log back on, same as for turning it on. I originally put a password on it last week because 2 of our cats love to walk across and sit on the keyboard, pressing keys, messing stuff up, opening things, even deleting stuff. And I don't want to see any kitty porn on it either  :lol:

I found it to be very disturbing too. Thank you for the delete privilege so that I was able to remove it before others were subjected to seeing that.  Those types of pictures have no place other than in a police file.

Not too bad here, Blue. Got quite cold in the house last few days, cranked the heat up this morning and it's still cold. Thank goodness for extra socks, slippers, sweaters, house coats, blankets and hot chocolate!

It's down to minus 17 with the wind chill in many areas. At night they said it gets down to even more in areas! It isn't really but the wind makes it! I hope anyone outside has the means to be inside right now. And outside pets and animals, I feel bad for them too :-(

Last weekend was quite mild as I was in downtown Calgary tending the kettle for the Salvation Army and I wasn't cold at all..



I will be doing the same thing again tomorrow and I have to be honest the thought of spending four hours outside frightens me..



If anyone is in downtown Calgary tomorrow and sees a frozen little Asian lady beside a kettle, please thaw me out with a hot chocolate.

Aww Fash, that's so nice of you to give your time to help charity this time of year. If I lived near, I would totally bring you a nice big cup of hot chocolate!  There's a couple of guys working on a fence in our neighborhood who were just freezing cold, I felt so bad for them. Hubby and I were just about to bring them hot chocolate when they packed up and went home. I would not want to be outside in this weather for very long! I get head aches when my head gets cold and sometimes they are migraines that last for days :-(

We have locations in the malls too, but I prefer not to take them away from elderly people that may have health problems or cannot stand for too long..

I don't think anyone in my family would even want to snoop and I don't have passwords written down so no one would know it other than me.  Also after 10 minutes of no computer use, it goes to screen saver and have to enter a password to log back on, same as for turning it on. Several times on the Van Forum as well as other weird things like my avater deleted, my settings changed, password changed. Been happening for the past several months off and on. I got many email notifications of someone trying to log onto my accounts all with my name Annie on other forums I use the same name. And here too.  

I would be logged out and logged on and it isn't me.



My passwords are all different, no one in my home knows them, and I always log out just in case my computer blows and I have to take it in, I don't want some computer tech clicking on a forum link and getting into my account.  But someone is getting in and doing stuff.

Annie , i know Windows has a password saver, Maybe, by mistake you click "yes save password" for memebe forum because that's the only way your puter can log in with out YOU typing it in after you log out, That or its someone at home doing it. Anne run a scan for a key logger, maybe someone installed it? Blue has a good site for you to check i think.
