Still, the IDF believes that the fighting must continue, to the point where the Hamas readership comes up with the radical Islamist equivalent of crying uncle. Just as the 2014 Gaza war yielded a relatively quiet period of close to seven years (which was, admittedly, "helped" by the coronavirus), this campaign must yield a few years of quiet during which Hamas and the rest of the Gaza terrorists would be licking their wounds.
To remind you, in 2014, 3,500 terrorists were killed – but that figure required a ground invasion. And not a fake one.

The description of the call — the fourth between President and Prime Minister over the past week — reflected growing concern in the White House over the conflict. Previously, administration officials said their objective was to keep pressure on Israel limited to private conversations. But that appeared to shift after the White House revealed publicly that Biden had set a short deadline for de-escalating the violence.
"With every passing day we are striking at more of the terrorist organizations' capabilities, targeting more senior commanders, toppling more terrorist buildings and hitting more weaponry stockpiles," he said in a video posted to Twitter standing outside the IDF's command center. He added he "especially appreciate(s) the support of our friend US President Joe Biden," without mentioning Biden's new deadline.
On the call, which occurred early Wednesday morning, the President adopted a direct and firm tone, according to a person briefed on the matter. In response, Netanyahu offered Biden no specific pledge to wind down the violence.

A pair of Jewish men dining outside a Los Angeles restaurant Tuesday night were allegedly attacked by members of a pro-Palestinian caravan driving through the area, KTLA-TV reported.
What are the details?
The incident took place just before 10 p.m. outside Sushi Fumi on North La Cienega Boulevard in the Beverly Grove neighborhood, the station said — and portions of the attack were captured on cellphone video.
A witness told KTLA she was sitting with a group of friends when the caravan displaying Palestinian flags drove by and began shouting at diners.

Exactly - Sharon gave them Gaza with no stings attached. Hamas immediately hurled rockets & took over by "election" & killing the less aggressive fellow islamic PA off
Opened schools to teach kids to hate and kill .. built tunnels .. stashed rockets etc etc
Israel has nothing to do with it now
It has been a totally autonomous area since that day Sharon gave it to them .. ruled 100% by Hamas . . a harsh Fundamentalist dictatorship in effect
