The more it is reduced the less opportunity it will have to infect others and also to mutate - both of which are factors of numbers .. just as the more cases, the more opportunity to spread and also to mutate
5 to 12 cases for 9 million people is the best I'm aware of anywhere & by MANY times over .. In fact it is phenomenal .. That's about the combined total people of BC & Alberta, both of which are still measured in the hundreds as they struggle to get enough vaccine to get numbers down to very low
I'm not sure of Israel's vaccination rate, but I do know it is high. Even with 100% one would expect more cases than that as even the most efficient brands do not afford protection for 1 in every 20 people (and have never claimed better than that) .. indicating that vaccines work more efficiently than advertised / promised
The only logical explanation is that It seems to have worked so well in Israel that the unvaccinated and those in the % for whom the vaccine will not work have so few to come into contact with that the chance of transmission is extremely low

Our 2 Western Provinces also get points as next best I can find .. and by a very wide margin .. much better than the US best reputed good rates of Florida & Texas
Israel was a world leader in treatments.
Not disagreeing, but I's term it not "a" .. rather "The" world leader in that area and most if not all science areas
Pacific Rim countries like Singpaore kept death rates low by using existing treatments that the US was playing political games with.

I just checked and Singapore's death / case rate is fantastic - Clearly they also handled care homes & all elderlies as they should be handled
