Hate hoax: Racist graffiti at high school that ignited a mass walkout was done by a black student, district says

Racist graffiti painted in a Missouri high school bathroom sparked a student walkout last week, but now the school district revealed that the perpetrator was a black student.

Racist graffiti was spray-painted in the boys' bathroom at Parkway Central High School in suburban St. Louis on Sept. 22. The graffiti said, "HOPE ALL BLACK PEOPLE DIE," and also used the N-word.

The racist graffiti ignited a mass walkout a day later by over 1,000 students and faculty from high schools in the district, KMOV reported. The participants of the walkout demanded "change."

"I'm sitting in that building, shaking in fear because I don't know what's going to happen to me because of my skin tone," a student said at the demonstration. "We need change in this building and we don't need it then, we need it now."

However, an investigation revealed that the racist graffiti was a hate hoax after a black student admitted to carrying out the incendiary act.

"The student responsible is not white," Keith Marty, Superintendent of Parkway Schools, said Tuesday in a statement. "This does not diminish the hurt it caused or the negative impact it has had on our entire community."

"The student is facing severe disciplinary consequences and referral to law enforcement for investigation," the letter read. "Parkway will continue to hold students responsible for any behavior that threatens or degrades others in our school community."

Even though the vandalism was a hate hoax, the walkout was celebrated.

"Students proactively led walkouts at multiple Parkway high schools and in these moments, many students shared personal experiences of racism throughout their lives and at school," Marty wrote. "I want to tell the thousands of students who participated on behalf of themselves and their fellow classmates: I am proud of you for supporting one another and we heard you loud and clear."

Marty said the walkouts were a "clear indication that more work is needed to ensure our school cultures and communities are safe for each student regardless of their race."

"Let us use this opportunity to continue to grow as a community to be more compassionate, peaceful and loving individuals with care for all," the statement read.

"We cannot presume the reasons a student would do this and it will be important to understand why this happened as we move forward," he said.

A Parkway School District spokeswoman told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that officials don't know why the student committed the acts of vandalism or used the racist slurs.

Despite the racist messages being a hate hoax, the school board introduced a new "educational equity" policy.

The policy states that "appropriate revisions will be made to policies and practices such that equity for all students will be an apparent, defining feature. If appropriate, practices or policies may be revised or eliminated in order to produce equitable opportunities for all students."

This is the second hate hoax at the school in recent years. In 2017, "White lives matter" followed by the N-word were written on a girls' bathroom mirror at Parkway Central High School. It later turned out that a non-white student wrote the racial slur.

This adds to the already long list of hate hoaxes committed around the country.

Last week, a black former Emory University employee was arrested and suspected of writing the N-word and drawing swastikas on the university's autism center.

In May, a "person of color" created an Instagram account and sent out hateful, racist messages. The incident caused a school walkout in Minnesota, but later was revealed to be "a hoax sent under false pretense."

Racist and anti-Semitic graffiti featuring references to the Klu Klux Klan was found at Michigan's Albion College in April which ignited 450 students and staff members to walk out of the school. The culprit, who is black, admitted to writing the racist messages.

If it isn't a criminal act in the state of Missouri, it should be.

Amazing how people automatically assume the worse (when it supports their agenda)... as I see it, it is  similar to conspiracy people  .. in fact no different really .. and is now growing rampant as they get more desperate

Victims of false info are victims because they want to be / want to believe what supports "their thang" . their agenda

It's happened again, and again.

Hate hoax: 'White KKK member' making racially motivated threats to burn down houses and kill neighbors turns out to be black woman, police say

A Georgia neighborhood was terrorized by a person claiming to be a white male member of the Ku Klux Klan. However, police now say that the person making racially motivated threats to burn down houses in the neighborhood and kill people is actually a black woman.

Last December, residents of the Brookmont subdivision of Douglasville began receiving racially charged letters in their mailboxes. The handwritten notes claimed to be from a 6-foot tall, white male with a long, red beard, who was a member of the KKK.

"The notes threatened to burn their houses down and kill them and said that they didn't belong in the neighborhood," said Detective Nathan Shumaker.

The notes – which used the N-word and talked about hanging people – were received by at least seven black residents in the suburb about 25 miles from Atlanta, according to WGCL-TV.

The Douglasville Police Department said the investigation started by detectives going "door-to-door to check doorbell cameras and gather whatever information they could from the residents." They also handed out flyers to residents about the racially motivated threats.

The letters – which were delivered in the middle of the night – stopped in January, but picked up again in February and March.

An alarmed resident alerted local media to the story, and the letters stopped again until the final letter was delivered on Sept. 6.

Detectives Andre Futch and Shumaker determined that the letters had "similar handwriting, tone and verbiage with some distinctive letters that were consistent throughout."

On Sept. 6, law enforcement found evidence linking the terroristic letters to the home of Terresha Lucas – a 30-year-old black female. The detectives gathered enough evidence to obtain a search warrant. During the search, detectives found other evidence that tied the suspect to the threatening notes, Shumaker said.

Lucas was charged with eight counts of making terroristic threats. The motive behind the hate hoax was not immediately released by authorities.

Police Chief Dr. Gary Sparks commended the detectives, "Our investigators had the drive to stick with this case and see it all to the end. That's what we're all about and this reflects the professionalism and integrity of the department."

"They stayed with it and put in a lot of hours. Even when some people went to the media, which could have hampered our investigation, we still stuck with it to the end," Sparks added.

This is the second hate hoax incident near Atlanta to garner national headlines in as many weeks.

Last week, a black former Emory University employee was arrested and suspected of writing the N-word and drawing swastikas on the university's autism center.

Another race hate hoax was exposed this week in Missouri, where racist graffiti was painted in a high school bathroom that ignited a student walkout. However, the school district revealed that the culprit was a black student.

In May, a "person of color" created an Instagram account that spewed hateful, racist messages. The incendiary posts sparked a school walkout in Minnesota, but later was revealed to be "a hoax sent under false pretense."

In April, racist and anti-Semitic graffiti featuring references to the Klu Klux Klan was found at Michigan's Albion College, which prompted students and staff members to walk out of the school. The perpetrator, who is black, admitted to writing the racist messages.

A lot of schools have their "anti-bullying" policies.  And all of them are a joke.  They are just words and they don't do anything.  I've heard of  kids getting hurt physically or constantly bothered everyday and nothing is ever done.  Thank God myself or my kid didn't have to endure anything like that in our lives...but we both have seen it.  Regardless, I've taught my kid to use her words to protect herself...no matter how rude...and they keep going, then punch them in the face.  Yes, I know, people say being physical is not the answer, but some people are just asking for it.  If someone  is constantly weighing someone down infront of others (and most of these bitches have no idea how to fight) a simple punch to the face and some aggressive words to follow will make it stop.  Fuck the school and authority...they won't do anything.

Just capped him in the head cold blood... There was no talking.

He has millions of supporters.

A member of the school board of directors in Allentown, Pennsylvania, has been criminally charged after she apparently fabricated a race hoax by allegedly fashioning a noose and planting it on her desk.

Around 7:40 a.m. on January 10, the Allentown Police Department received a call from LaTarsha Brown, a 42-year-old city employee and school board member. Brown reported that a half-hour earlier, she had arrived at her desk on the third floor at City Hall and discovered "what she believed to be a noose" lying there, a statement from the APD said.

Within days, community activists gathered outside City Hall to demonstrate against the supposed "hate crime." "Enough is enough," wailed Union Baptist Church Pastor Benjamin Hailey, who referred to the alleged noose as "a symbol of hatred."

"Acts like this have long plagued our communities and serve as a painful reminder of the work still ahead," added state Rep. Napoleon Nelson (D-Montgomery), chairman of the Pennsylvania Legislative Black Caucus. "I am deeply dismayed but unfortunately not surprised."

By that time, law enforcement was already busy conducting an investigation into the alleged noose. Officers identified all the city employees who accessed the third floor of City Hall between the time Brown left work on the afternoon of January 9 until she returned to work the following day.

Cops also asked each of the employees whether they were willing to provide a sample of their DNA. "Every city employee agreed, except Ms. Brown," the APD statement said, though she eventually reversed course after the Lehigh County D.A.'s office secured a search warrant.

On March 10, the PSP Forensic DNA Division issued a report claiming that "Ms. Brown's DNA matched the DNA profile obtained from the swabs of both the outer surface and the inner knotted portion of the noose after taken apart," APD claimed. APD reiterated that "no other person's DNA profiles" were found on the evidence collected in connection with the case.

On Monday, APD announced that Brown had been charged with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and filing a false report, both misdemeanors. Together, the charges carry a maximum sentence of three years in jail and a $7,500 fine.

As punishment, she should be forced to permanently surrender the nigger name of LaTarsha Brown and be forced to use the overly white name of Clara O'Grady or face public execution.
