I hit a 7 foot drift in the road once and was so lucky to have a mask and extra mittens and hats to walk the 5 miles home. Would have struggled to not lose bits of my face.

There were none in that region.... just black bears, wolves, and wolverines.

We are trained very young to not even think  about evading the polar bears.



White and all .. just like the snow ..  one can't see them until they do you in in a spilt second, so one cannot evade them



If caught  it's too late then to worry about it .. so why worry?

Children in Australia receive very little training in polar bear evasion, an omission that I find dangerously negligent.
