They've gone too far/woke.....and are engaging in censorship.



Good riddance.... I hope many others stop their paid subscriptions too...

Spotify rolled out new restrictions on content that the platform deems "dangerous," "deceptive," sensitive," and "illegal." The rules will apply to musicians, podcasters, and other contributors.



In what appears to be an attempt to rein in Rogan, the streaming platform also unveiled new rules on "content that promotes dangerous false or dangerous deceptive medical information that may cause offline harm or poses a direct threat to public health."

In the comments section of the cancellation process I said as much. They were losing 200 bucks from me because they were bending the knee to crazy zealots and I won't pay companies money to censor protected speech.

I don't have many(any) lesbian friends. I had a lesbian apply for a job at my company. I interviewed her, and her uncomfortability level with a gay man was loud and clear. I knew she would say no, but I made an offer of employment anyway, lol.

A possible reason for the mass deletion of pre-pandemic episodes could stem from a new controversy involving Rogan. This week, a compilation video went viral of Rogan saying the N-word in past podcasts. Rogan used the racial slur 24 times in the 23 resurfaced clips in episodes recorded years ago, well before his deal with Spotify.



Rogan issued an apology on Saturday morning for using the racial slur, calling it "the most regretful and shameful thing I've ever had to talk about publicly."



Rogan said the clips were taken "out of context" from "12 years of conversations." He explained that he was quoting other people in several instances of using the N-word.

I like Apple Music. Everything is placed in order and easy to access. If I'm playing a particular band, say from the 70's, when the album finishes it will precede to play me more music randomly of that genre. I really dig that as it allows me to quickly download bands that I've just discovered or had forgotten about. Costs me around $10.00 per month. My library also links up with my Apple TV account, so it's good to have that access when entertaining guests or just lounging about.

I thought he was pro-blue collar? I thought he always came off as someone with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. That Homegrown album was supposed to come out back in the 70's after Harvest, but he only released it a few years ago. One of the songs was about a breakup he was having with this chick that he loved at the time so he stashed the entire album away for almost 50 years.
