2 vehicles just tried to hit police .. one of them a large Truck & trailer (prolly not intended as a love-bump)
Being investigated as "2 Attempts to commit murder"
They got one of them and are after the second

For the BC borderI thingy, it was Canadians, not Americans and they have no sanction from truckers, rather were doing their own thang.
Further it was not haphazard .. rather they came mainly from a nearby city known for radicals ... met up near where I live and walked and / or drove their cars there. They had few signs.
Coppers had them under control & stopped cold until what was described as a "military type vehicle" charged right at coppers who only barely got out of the way .. it aimed for them .. obviously well planned & and planned to be deadly
(I have seen no images of that vehicle, so have no idea what it was other than if was oversize, and bulletproof, able to ran fast along ditch & field to avoid it's own people before turning and trying to hit coppers)
It was the only reason coppers lost control of the mob who then went at the border crossing.
That intersection in the image is the runup to the border crossing that handles commercial trucks as well as cars

Ottawa Police have reportedly abandoned even their middling attempt to cut off fuel to Freedom Convoyers blockading the capital.
Which, as an aside, was totally illegal.
This to me is the disconcerting element to this saga.
The government and police were prepared to act ILLEGALLY by taking fuel cans, blocking GoFundMe, and arresting horn honkers.
That is of major concern to Canadians. That isn't right.

Most of the people blocking commercial border crossings are not it semis. Canadian media is giving a false narrative. Nothing new about that.
From the perspective of an insurance company, it can't just choose to take away the insurance of a driver involved in a protest the woke company does not like. There are a certain set of rules and circumstances to be followed, notice periods, by way of registered letters and those kinds of things.

RCMP also said the 13 were also made up of individuals from other towns in Alberta who were part of a known extremely radical group that would have acted had police used force .. that's why they were there. Seems the farm people were part of that same group
They were not part of the protests, rather they glommed onto an opportunity to hide amongst them & go after authorities
Looking at the timing, it seemed the truckers left yesterday as a result of them having screwed everything up for them & may have known there were more of them in their midst
The RCMP quickly stated they were not part of the truckers, merely using them opportunistically .. Anyone listening to the RCMP knew from the gitgo there never was a direct connection to the truckers

I always laugh at how they arrange these "weapons haul's" in the most flattering light for them.... ie. Including a flashlight, gun oil, camo backpack, machete, belts, ouches, and whatever else that isn't illegal to have on hand... and the shotgun.... with the elastic ammo sleeve. Everything else has been separated from its ammo but the 12 gauge got to keep it for the photo op. Lulz

Even before the pandemc. foreign investment was collapsing. The anti resurce BIlls C-48 and C-69 said to the international community, take your money elsewhere, Canada is closed and pursuing a version of North Korea's juche ideology.
Even if the Tory's don't screw it up this time and actually pick someone who can lead, it won't be easy reversing the assualt on prosperity that has been the hallmark of the Trudeau regime. It will probably take more than one majority term to do it. That is a tall order for a federal Conservative party.
