The preview looks good.



The Tolkien Society said that they like the way this is following the story, much better than when they tried making the movies.



I know there is 5 seasons coming.



And now we know it IS based on pre 3rd age, which was rumor in the deep lol.



I honestly hope they start at the beginning, when the creation began. I hope they dont hop around.

The so called "superfans" are claiming that they have a problem with the lack of representation of their race.

How can you be a "superfan" since you apparently hate the whole story.



Its based on Northern-European stories and there is no non-whites in it.

Its supposedly the most expensive series ever... Billion dollar budget.



The CGI looks bad... They should use more practical effects if they have that kind of money.



It has a cheap fantasy series look to it.





The appearance of the different races are described in the books... There are no black elves.



And they inserted another "look whos coming to dinner" love story in there.





They knew how its gonna be received which is why they had full anti-racism articles pre-made before people even had the time to react to the pictures and videos.
