Senate unanimously approves making daylight saving time permanent (//https)
It needs house vote, but that is expected to pass
Speaking for BC, we have already approved the issue, just waiting for next door Washington State to do likewise
Will make for more Winter morning drives to work being in the dark while having the opposite effect on returning home

In Saskatchewan, we are used to year round daylight savings time.
Had it here for 40 years. But three States have abstained, meaning in Summer we have 4 different time zones.

So far, Herman's province is the only jurisdiction in North America that doesn't observe daylight savings time.
To be honest I can live without it. It is not universally loved.

Okay, thank you IHJ.
Farmers aren't fans of DST, nor parents of younger children.
