I think you are exaggerating too. I remember old Jock saying you didn't know the controls or what to do when you step in a locomotive. You don't just walk into a freight train locomotive and start helping yourself to the controls. Not even the conductor is allowed to do that. Old Jock was saying neither of our two major freight rail carriers allows ride on passnegers even if they sign a waiver.
If you said you walked up to a drilling rig floor and started operating the kelly without a first line well control and BOP certificates I would be calling bullshit too.

At that time I focused on arguing islam as there was 2 smart & fast challengers there who always came after me .. each their own ways of approach. A "Muslim Girl ... exceeding fast on comeback but too fast maybe .. was easy to catch in lies .. and the best of all was what I was certain was a Fundy to the core .. fast, smart, no lies, games or BS .. just what he believed and knew his Kranny .. lightning fast .. kept me on my toes (sometimes I had to ask hubby to take over temporarily

Well the way alt.flame was set up, it was like wrassling, you had the baby faces on one side and the heels on the other side represented by the Hell Flame Wars, both sides basically roasted the other in the funniest way possible, sometimes taking a break to discuss music, movies and mystery science theater 3000. It was all text, no gifs and pictures like they had at Brawl Hall.

My daughter is 15 now and thankfully, I managed to teach her to identify and ignore all of the woke trash
She wants to study Chemical Engineering and there's not a lot of brainwashing involved in this kind of degree, they focus on what matters, so college should be a problem too
One day I told her "You're probably gonna be called square, boring and other things like, but you should take it as a compliment, considering who's it coming from"

At this point I'm just glad that I'm done with raising children, expect for the financial part
My daughter is 15 now and thankfully, I managed to teach her to identify and ignore all of the woke trash
She wants to study Chemical Engineering and there's not a lot of brainwashing involved in this kind of degree, they focus on what matters, so college should be a problem too

She's already chosen that path. My sister is a CE too, I see she inspires my daughter a lot professionally.
Her grades in school are excellent, she already speaks English. And since she was born in the US, she's gonna have a lot more opportunities.
Many companies here want people who go freely anywhere they need. Sometimes the contract won't wait for the visa, so if they have someone who can simply hop on a plane an go, it's a plus.
