Nice!  You back in the GVRD again?  The best thing I did was leave that shithole...

But ya, spend as much quality time as you can with your family, as you never know when bad news can strike.

Me and the GVRD have/love hate relationship it is cool to be near downtown for some some kickass concerts and events but my true home has always been in the Okanagan...plus the  "city" ass GVRD  town house that I have here  works for now.

But finding OEM replacement  parts for that bike are a nice internet search PITA    But working on  the bike is the fun part going to give it back to him  hopefully by September as a surprise.

Vancouver proper has ZERO redeeming qualities...  Okanagan is good, but now getting busy and expensive too.  My Uncle lives in Vernon, so it was almost a second home there during summer vacations as a kid and beyond.  Very familiar with the region!  Co-worker of mine recently sold his Langley house and bought right on Swan Lake.

I think the Koots is still the best region in BC though, which is why I chose to move here...  Small town/rural living, with rugged natural beauty.  And low population numbers, which is important to avoid all the problems that come with big city life.  Ever since COVID, people have been flooding into this region also though, but a lot of the desirable areas are still in the ALR, so it won't change overnight, although the price will...  No more $200,000 old Doukhobour homes available here anymore.

Nowhere left to run to eventually!

Old bike parts can be difficult...  OEM may be an expensive dream for certain parts...  May have to consider some chink aftermarket parts instead in some cases.

What would $600K-$700K get someone out there by curiosity?

Sold the Stang after I moved rural, since it wouldn't really suit my needs here all that well.  Liked it, but my 2020 F150 simply works better for my rural requirements!  It's earning its keep.

Any consolation, it does have the 5.0 under the hood!  It is NOT slow!

It's often dependent where you are, and since the Koots is a region larger than New Jersey, it varies...  But I will confidently state that $600-700 will still get you a decent home on a decent property here...  A 'Family Quality' home like we grew up in.

The farther you are from the small cities here, the larger the properties get.  In my particular area, around 5 acres is sort of the average.

Yep!  Special Ordered it right from Ford myself!  3.73 gears in there, which is the lowest it could be ordered with.

And to be honest, I think it's almost as fast as my Stang, so fast enough!  I just don't think a blower is necessary!

Hey weebles, you should get your class 6 and ride with your old man. My boy bought a 2006 Harley Softtail. We ride together every chance we get.
