Makes no difference. Very few people can run plates. Even ICBC workers and the cops actually need a reason to run plates... that shit is monitored, and they'll get into hot water if they're randomly running plates without reason.

In Ontario, people can find out your name, but not your address from a plate.

That's fucked up that Ontario allows that. In BC it's against the rules for any entity to release plate info to the general public.
I'd say it's still a bad idea to post a pic of your plates because the state/province information could be added to a collection of other data.

Not that I'm super worried about that.....but I'd prefer to avoid giving away that much possible info.
I took them at night so you couldnt really see it clearly anyway.
