Everyone is getting COVID again. People at our church are testing positive.
Let's discuss this without involving politics. If you had it, what did you take to ease symptoms? Vitamins? Natural remedies?

Cases are dropping in my province Erica..
But, that could change next month.
It's starting here again. The monkey pox is what has me on edge tho. That will keep me in the house, it looks scary as heck.

My daughter came down with something over a week ago.
Wife has kept her out of school since and I only returned to the house yesterday.....
Our daughter has a dry constant cough... daughter had it before I left...and still has it.
I told my wife to make sure the kid ate at least one mandarin per day... I came home and the kid was dragging her feet about food....so, I told her off. She will eat 1 mandarin per day...and any other fruit I cut up for her..
The little turd WILL eat what we put out on the plate.
Yesterday I felt like eating an apple and used a paring knife to skin it.... then a second apple...
That little turd wanted apple then....
Lulz....

I caught the origninal strain. I had some extremely bad days. I took vitamins D,C and zinc.
The way folks are describing symptoms, it sounds like it's the Omicron strain.
Fash, I'm nervous about the monkey pox

No... I'm not... it's only highly transmissible in the gay population.
It requires close proximity against skin or prolonged face to face through droplets.

Yeah... twice.
I found this about monkeypox.
Monkeypox symptoms and signsTrusted Source include headache, skin rash, fever, body aches, chills, swollen lymph nodes, and exhaustion. It produces symptoms similar to smallpox, but milder.
The time from infection to the onset of symptoms, which is referred to as the incubation period, can range from five to 21 days. The illness typically resolves within two to four weeks.
Severe cases are more common among people with underlying immune deficiencies and young children. In recent times, the case fatality ratioTrusted Source of monkeypox is around 3-6%.
How is it transmitted?
Transmission of the monkeypox virus among humans is limited, but it can happen through close skin contact, air droplets, bodily fluids, and virus-contaminated objects.
Most of the recent cases of monkeypox in the U.K. and Canada have been reported among attendees of sexual health services at health clinics in men who have sex with men.
Regarding this trend, Dr. I. Socé Fall, the regional emergencies director for the WHO's Health Emergencies Program, cautioned:
"This is new information we need to investigate properly to understand better the dynamic of local transmission in the U.K. and some other countries."

My oldest and her girlfriend have Covid right now. They had to cancel the next full week of school and work.
They are pretty sick. They think it's funny though. They both have heavy senioritis.
I was really freaked by that mystery hepatitis that was caused by a typically harmless adenovirus.....I mean I still am.....but now I hear about monkey pox break outs?
Good grief lol. I wanna believe it was always like this and the media used to pretty much ignore it but covid made them focus lol.

I dont know why but it really is impacting the gay community pretty hard. And there articles talking about how we cant make monkey pox a "gay" stigma like we did with AIDS.
Here is an article
https://www.insider.com/monkeypox-gay-bisexual-men-affected-but-who-warns-stigma-2022-5
So it's basically because of the contact. And gay men are pretty promiscuous. So it's not that it's a "gay" problem, gay guys are just exposing themselves more.

The school says it's mandatory to report sickness and to take a rapid antigen or pcr test at the first sign of sickness... the government says we must report after a positive test, so we simply DO NOT TEST her.
If we don't test, we have nothing to report.

I have been vaxxed and had one booster. I also take Vitamin D, Zinc (which I think is important since it appears to inhibit the viruses from infecting cells, it also boosts the immune system), Vitamin C on a daily basis. I tend to not gather in large groups.
I did stop wearing masks to most places, except for healthcare facilities as it's required.
I haven't been infected.
I'm unvaxxed, and haven't had Covid. Or at least not that I know of. I'm pretty sure everyone will eventually get it, or a variant, vaxxed or not.
I'm not worried. Enough damage has been done trying to 'minimize' the spread, and there comes a point where we just have to move on and understand that the cure is sometimes worse than the disease.
I didn't get COVID til I got vaxxed lol. I made it thru the first two waves, got vaxxed, then got omicron
There we go! Peeps done gone got vaxxinated and don't even know their blood types yo!
Just an observation and not singling anyone out in particular to be sure!
Edumacation is paramount is a world of super unknowns. Damn...our bodies are teeming with deadly bacterial pathogens that want to multiply.
Who would've fathomed that the dirtiest part of our body could be the kissable navel? Our scars from birth. Hmmm...one learns something everyday.

Almost everybody I know who caught omicron had three doses.
I never got tested, never got vaxxed and never got Covid. I figure I must have been exposed to it by now, it's been going around for more than two years already and I didn't change my habits or anything. Everyone at my office had it, a few of my friends have had it but no, it never seemed to affect me. Just lucky I guess.

Most people dont even have noticable symptoms. We had it months ago. It wasnt fun....but it certainly wasnt the sickest I've been.
And yeah I had one shot of the J&J.
I've had three doses and neither my wife nor I have caught omicron.
None of my friends, family, or neighbors have had it. All have been subjected to problems with lockdowns and mandates.
Daughter had it 10 days ago. Wife and I didn't... none of us are jabbed.
I have had relatives, friends and employees catch the rona. All were vaccinated.
