Yep. That's what we did for her over this past year. She would be entering 1st grade if we put her in public.
I never wanted to homeschool, it's been fun so far but it's not like Kinder is difficult. We are taking it one year at a time and keeping it fun and interesting. And making sure we have all the resources possible, like tutors and hybrid programs, as we go. We bought a really good curriculum for first grade that is "state approved". Which is important if we want her to have a "state approved" education. We still need to register her as a home schooler.
My 16 year old did a complete 180 with her mental health as soon as public school closed and remote started. A positive 180. She does better on every level doing school online. So we have made arrangements with the school district here to allow her to continue that but attend a class a few days a week.
I really hate public schools. I wish we had more of a variety to chose from. And some less institutionalized options.
We definately dont have to worry about killer trannies.

My oldest daughter is 18 and she works and is saving money towards a car(its not all gonna be on her ...we are all matching her, but we think it's important that she works and puts her own money towards it as well) and we still stick our noses in her business and watch how she spends. Shes very responsible.
I cant imagine having your kid stash 4k and you arent watching that. That's just a lot of money for a kid that age to not be watching. IMO. He bought two rifles and no one was in his business? The adults in this kids life failed and sadly other families are now suffering immensely.

I dont agree with just feeding pills to human beings who are still in critical stages of their development. Excuse me for not wanting to disrupt my daughters brain development with pharmaceuticals. And get her in a habit of reaching for something to cope. I want her to be an active participant in her mental and emotional health.
It's never done properly, either. Like with close supervision and physicals and the medical part.
Thankfully shes doing really well without it. Some of these kids are on a host of meds and still fucking miserable. It also shocks me how frequently the doses are altered. Honestly I think unfettered access to the internet has had a very unhealthy impact on teens. It's actually trendy now to have mental disabilities and kids on are tik tok faking things like DID and Tourettes. It's really sad. We dont do tik toky shit over here lol

She informed me the other that her boyfriend was recently put on......zoloft and paxil. None of us even knew he was struggling. It really bummed me out to hear that.

Texas cops said last night that they didn't immediately rush in to find the shooter on Tuesday's attack after being shot at because they feared they might be killed, and even suggested that they deliberately locked the gunman in the classroom where he slaughtered 21 people in order to trap him.
Department of Safety Lt. Chris Olivarez made the astonishing comments during an appearance on CNN last night.
He was being challenged by Wolf Blitzer over why the first officers who responded to the shooting retreated after Salvador Ramos shot at them with his AR-15 and then waited an hour for tactical SWAT teams to take him out, leaving him alone in a classroom with the 19 fourth graders and two teachers who he slaughtered.
'Don't current best practices, Lieutenant, call for officers to disable a shooter as quickly as possible, regardless of how many officers are actually on site?' Blitzer asked.
He replied: 'In the active shooter situation, you want to stop the killing, you want to preserve life. But also one thing that, of course, the American people need to understand is that officers are making entry into this building. They do not know where the gunman is. They are hearing gunshots. They are receiving gunshots.'
He then appeared to try to take credit for the gunman being locked in the classroom with the kids for an hour - including some he shot at the start of the rampage who later died in the hospital - claiming it saved other lives.

He is to blame! As much as better security, or laws, or any other factor may have mitigated the event, the CAUSE of it was the intent to kill.
I saw an interview with some kid that went to school with him. He said this guy was a terrible person and would harm animals for fun. He also really emphasized that this shooter was never bullied....but he did do some bullying.
He was just evil. Youd have to be evil to do something like this.
I'd like to see animal abuse and cruelty be dealt with more seriously.....its almost always a "gateway" to abuse and murder of human beings. It was made a felony and that's good.....but really action needs to be taken before they move on to humans. Maybe some mental health intervention or something. I dont know.
Its definately a warning sign.

The father has said similar things as the mother.... ie "don't call him a monster"...
He killed 19 and injured a dozen more... that's monster behaviour.
Family loyalty doesn't change that.

Any kid that enjoys animal cruelty is major red flag about potential future behaviour.

But I agree. I do feel for her......I cannot even imagine this....I'm convinced this kid was just evil and sometimes it doesnt matter how good or bad the parents were. There is really no way for any of us to know what that situation was truly
But I fully agree.....she needs to just NOT SPEAK. You cant apologize for something like this. The best thing she can do is disappear. The only thing she can do by speaking publically is make it worse.

I would want her dead. Not just dead but burning in hell. Which I know isnt very Christ like....but I'm a human and I'm pretty confident I wouldnt even care about anything anymore.
I know if it were me, just hearing her voice would enrage me.
It is what it is. Since the murderer died as well....I would direct all my grief and rage right at her. You know those poor mothers are feeling that.

Although Dylan Klebolds mother goes around speaking to students and did a TED talk.....but that was years after and she has a clear message and isnt all emotional.
