It is too bright. I have to reduce the overall brightness on my IPad just to focus. The retinas buuuuurn. It would be great to have a darker option. I'd pay for it of course....for the benefit of all concerned. But I want a panel too!

PS: The angst of late with particular members at both forums is hilarious. The blow-ins at BF are hilarious. Fortunately I spend the better three quarters of my time being productive and couldn't give the slightest of a nuggety kangaroo turd.

There is a blue theme that is mildly dimmer.  In user preferences you can choose it.

Allan style- subsilver is indeed available within preferences.  It's somewhat more grey.
