The practical problem with this is that I wouldn't act on any post that isn't a clear violation of the TOS or rules.  And if his posts were merely garbage,  I'd want to move them to rejected.  That won't work if guest posting isn't allowed in rejected.

Seems to me if one individual is the problem, that's whose posting privileges should be restricted.  Certainly not all guest posts are bad.  Perhaps a good compromise would be to continue allowing guest posting in both subs, and require mod approval at night.

I like guest posting, and in the nearly ten years we have been around, we usually had it..



In the early years, we had a poster who had an obsessive hate of Shen Li and she teased him mercilessly......cc and Zetsu will know who I mean..



But, he seemed like a well adjusted person compared to Mel over the last seven years or so..



So, guest posting is on mod approval.,



But, between you and cw_ you can approve or disapprove posts quickly.

No, actual spam is against the rules.  I've deleted two spam posts from rejected so far, if you must know.  They contained long lists of corporate urls.
