I came to realize that when I was trying to discuss these topics and they would start insulting me, and I would point this out and they would claim I was insulting them.....they actually receive disagreement and opposition as insults.

"Vile" is too strong a word for me but yeah it's tacky. Thing is, when I first made an account there I took ten minutes to look around and see what the rules are. One of the things I saw was a sticky thread in meltdown, with the admin as the OP, "DUAL KILL FILE."
So wow, this admin has no tolerance for duals or shared accounts? And I've seen other forums like that. But a situation like Fash and Shen's can usually be handled by a courtesy DM to the admin explaining "we are friends and sometimes we post from each other's homes."
So my bottom line is, the exposure of IP addresses, while tacky, could have been avoided. And also IMO, Shen gets NO TROPHY for getting banned or whatever she got. I mean, since it would have taken a few weeks to get banned for the content she was posting.
