Im gonna go celebrate with my friend's family tonight, his daughter graduated.



Tomorrow gonna perform singing, then jam Celtic with friends, then go to a Viking bonfire hahaha.

 Squish is with Babba with her cousin (who is also her BFF....they are so close)



 16 year old is camping with friends

Happy Friday! I'm spending it with my ass firmly planted in my chair directly under the air conditioning vent. 115 degrees right now (46 celsius) so I ain't going nowhere. Gonna be hot all weekend too so it's a good time to catch up on my Witcher 3 game.

Aww...that's okay. I needed to get out of bed anyway. It's freezing here. Got down to 2'C this morning. I hope my wetsuit has dried out. We have big surf this whole long weekend here in Oz.

Yeah Arizona. Got priced out of San Jose a couple decades ago and had to leave. Was thinking of going to Vegas but Phoenix had cheaper houses and more jobs so I headed out here. It's hot but you just stay in the a/c and hope the power doesn't go off... which it did on Wednesday right when I got done putting away groceries in the refrigerator. Came back on about fifteen minutes later so no big deal.

I have experienced Phoenix summer weather in the Middle East and Africa. Worse even. I wish I could have been inside with ac on drinking beer at that time.

I lived in Phoenix as a kid for a couple years. Stone pebble lawns....lizards, snakes, black widows, scorpions in the summer, but sweet rose smells at night. Neighbours in our community had an informal competition to see who could nail up the most severed rattlesnake heads on the front beams of their garages or undercover car parks.
