Title: Who has seasonal allergies?
Post by: weebles on June 17, 2022, 03:28:01 PM
This Cottonwood is just making me eyes burn like I just rubbed tabasco in them and Allegra seems to help but takes a while to kick in.. Allergies suck.

I have hay fever but it doesn't affect me now that I live here. I guess the stuff doesn't like the desert.

The prairies aint where you want to be if you are a seasonal allergy sufferer. The wind here alone puts fine sand in everybody's eyes.

It seems to be not uncommon here in Southern Ontario.

Not if I take some Allergy Medication right away and wait for a bit till  it kicks in then not bad at all.

You have mild allegies if over the counter medicine does the trick.

Ticks through the warmer months. I keep my cats on a strict tick and flea medication so they do not transfer them to me when they come in for cuddles. I have Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS)...

Yeah, but I contracted the tick virus. It's different. I get anaphylaxis if I'm not careful.

I have a seasonal allergy to mosquitos. Winnipeg is the worst city in Canada to be outside in the summer. You will get eaten alive by skeeters.
