You like pancakes Erica?
I do. I made those for my son
Waffles > pancakes

Waffles > pancakes
I'll make waffles tomorrow morning. I love them with fresh strawberries and whipped cream
I don't dislike pancakes and waffles, but it's not something I get a craving for either.
Can't stand sweet breads.... yuck.
Pancakes are fried flour. YUCK!
"It's high in carbohydrates and calories, and low in everything else like fiber, protein and vitamins. White flour is stripped of its nutrients during processing, when the bran and germ part of the grain are removed leaving only the endosperm."
Double YUCK! :beurk:

It is nutition free.
You people act like you're not going to die and feed the worms no matter what you eat.
I'll be over here enjoying waffles.

I can't eat all empty calories. I have to have a little nutitional value. Give you an example. Once in a while for a treat, I like instant noodles. It's totally artificial, I know that. I'll put spinach, spring onions, peppers from my garden and an egg in it.
Edit, enjoy your waffles.
Enjoy your waffle eating waste of life! Die in a pool of syrup!!

I haven't eaten breakfast cereals, donuts, most cakes, puddings, or ice cream more than 4 times per year and just a taste test on most of those things since I was 12 years old.
I'm thin, cavity free, and approaching my 50th B-Day...
So, there!
You enjoy your shitty tasting waffles!
I like authentic Japanese ramen..
I'm buying four orders to go tonight from a Japanese restaurant near my house..
It has protein and veg in it and not a kilogram of salt like Kraft Dinner.

Put fruit and/veg in your pancakes. If you can do it with instant noodles you can do the same with pancakes. Use whole wheat flour or add oat flour or almond flour. Add Poppy seeds or flax or Chai seeds. Nuts always work too not to mention dozens of nutritional powders/supplements sold at every grocery store.
If I go out for breakfast, I never order pancakes or waffles. I stick to bacon/sausage, sunny side up eggs and brown toast.

Gone are the days when you would have a pizza box with nothing but unwanted pizza crust left inside. Papa Johns just introduced Papa Bowls, which is basically pizza in a bowl without the crust.
Pizza fans can enjoy all the toppings and cheese and sauce you would typically get on a pie, but in a bowl. There are three flavor offerings available: Italian Meats Trio, Chicken Alfredo and Garden Veggie.
"We are very excited to offer Papa Bowls as a new menu category and as a new way consumers can experience our premium ingredients," said Scott Rodriguez, Papa Johns senior vice president of menu strategy and product innovation. "Our signature crust continues to be a beloved favorite, but we know that sometimes customers crave something different. We want them to know we are committed to delivering on all of those cravings through our menu."
If customers don't particularly care for an ingredient or two in the flavor options available, they can just build their own Papa Bowl.
Papa Rewards loyalty members will get a chance to try the bowl starting August 15, according to a company news release. The national rollout to all customers will begin on August 22. All signature varieties, including create-your-own, are priced at $7.99.

I lost a lot of weight when I quit bread. It sounds like a good carb conscious idea.

Never cared for deep dish, but I'm a New Yorker so..
I'm like that a bit for New York pizza and cheese steaks (they shit all over what Australians are replicating down here).
New York is good but not as good as Philly and South Jersey.
The worst pizza I ever had was in the old Holiday Inn in Wheeling WV in the late 80's... hot dog chunks, pasta sauce, and cheddar cheese on it. We should have looked at the crushed red velvet curtains in our Munsters themed room and never ordered room service.
I ordered Papa John's for my employees. It is not one of the better chains.
I don't like Papa John's because they put sugar in both theor doe and their sauce.
