I'm pretty fair. If I ever started a forum again, I wouldn't do it unless I made sure I could attract some new blood to mix with the old. Php forums are not as popular as they once were, and I doubt anyone here wants to use Reddit etc, even if it might solve some problems with recruitment.
Other than an easy fix via software/venue change, major SEO and word of mouth would be required to expand this pond. Tbh, I wouldn't mind making the rules again.
