I always pictured Satan listening to something truly evil, like Tiny Tim or the Osmonds.

Here are some lyrics
"End of passion play
Crumbling away
I'm your source of self-destruction
Veins that pump with fear
Sucking darkeness clear
Leading on your death's construction
Taste me, you will see
More is all you need
Dedicated to
How I'm killing you
Come crawling faster (faster)
Obey your master (master)
Your life burns faster (faster)
Obey your
Master
Master
Master of puppets, I'm pulling your strings
Twisting your mind and smashing your dreams
Blinded by me, you can't see a thing
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream
Master
Master
Just call my name 'cause I'll hear you scream
Master
Master
Needlework the way
Never you betray
Life of death becoming clearer
Pain monopoly
Ritual misery
Chop your breakfast on a mirror"
It actually got me through the first 6 months of no heroin. I was working out A LOT. That's when I started running daily to get my endorphin rush :D

Same here. Give me their old stuff anyday.
I can't stand any of it...old or new. Highly overrated druck.
I liked Megadeth. They didn't take themselves so seriously.
I walked out of a music festival when Metallica started their set and I wasn't the only one. Hundreds turned their backs and waved their middle fingers on the way out.

I saw Metallica a few times. One of the times something went terribly wrong and some dude got set on fire and was running. Everyone thought it was part of the concert. Then a sound tower fell and they had to stop.
No one died but a few people were injured.....homeboy who was on fire was hurt pretty bad. I guess he was some fan who was trying to get on stage and he was close to their pyrotech stuff. It was unfortunate.
I think the most disappointing concert I went to was sadly the Black Sabbath reunion. And Bob Dylan....though I'm not sure what I was expecting there lol.

Sounds right. I know it was on or around Valentine's day and they were with Pantera.
The reason I asked is because I had a chance to see them in about 1998.. I was living in Indonesia at the time. I had buddies in Queensland, Australia I was planning on visiting who suggested I combine my trip with the Sabbath concert. I went to Australia, but I didn't see Sabbath. I aint a true fan of them anyway.

It was SO dull. And he had recently had some throat surgery ....he wasn't a great singer to begin with... and it was painful.
I went because a friend of mine had a ticket and asked me and I figured.....sure I'll go JUST so I could have the experience of seeing Bob Dylan.
That same friend invited me to go see Rolling Stones with her months ago....I laughed and asked if their nurse aids were gonna be wheeling them out on stage lol. I had to pass on that one though.
Metallica was what got played at remote kegger and tyre bonfire parties in state forests growing up. We'd all get smashed, fight, drive through the fire in a rage, and then get chased by car and chopper by 2 dozen law enforcement types from various agencies.

Grimes would probably have been on the list until around 'Art Angel' but I'm not feeling the newer stuff I've heard.

The victims of drug addiction.
He thinks everything is demonic.
70's and 80's heavy metal bands had some of the best cover art around IMO
Iron Maiden had awesome album art but most of their songs are about history same with newer metal bands like sabaton also go into real historical events in their songs.
Now lets raise some helll with Ozzy and Lemmy
