Dovey, was it you that was talking about it's benefits?  I just bought some but I wanna know, I'd it gonna make me nauseous or anything?

I love the stuff. I get raw kombucha from the store and I wanted to start making it. Order a scoby and try it lol.



 Yeah there are benefits for sure. Its really good for the gut. It never upsets my stomach at all. It actually makes me feel really good and energetic.



 There is a vinegar flavor that's odd at first of you are not used to fermented stuff. If you dont like it right away just choke it down and when you get used to it, you may like it. That's how it was with me.

It's disgusting.  I can't imagine why any well adjusted person would put it in their mouths.

 There are different kinds.....maybe try a different one. All it is is basically fermented tea.

 Noooo lol. It tastes like fruity, fizzy vinegar lol.

Remember, if you're going to try grow the scoby during the cooler weather, you'll need a heat pad under the brew that stabilises at around 25'C/77F. The new kombucha scobyneeds to set on the surface within 4 days or so.



A nice heat pad is one used for reptiles.

Never had a hernia, but I'm sure you've heard the story of when I twisted my balls snowboarding. The pain was massive. I had one big sack the size of a side-plate. This cute blonde nurse massaged them back in place, but the pain was so intense, that I didn't get the slightest of an inquiry in my Roger!  :swoon:

Kombucha is fermented but only has trace amounts of alcohol in it....
