I hate to say it, but I would find it easier to buy presents for a boy than a girl.
My 10 year old daughter really wants an RC car to chase the kitten around the yard.
So I asked her...
"BARBIE pink RC car? Yeah yeah... I've got the perfect one in my online shopping basket".
And she was like "NOOOOEESSS" because she takes after and listens to her mother and pink to them is like pineapple pizza to me ***spits***....
So I asked my daughter last night, "do you REALLY want to chase your kitten with a toy car, or would a drone with video be better?"
And she was like, "Both? Please both?"
Girl and boy kids are wired differently unless you don't allow it in your household.
I'll never forget my little sister (born when I was 15 years old) a few years later. We gave her a Folgers coffee can and told her she'd get a penny for every cigarette butt after spring thaws that she picked up and we had to count out.
Her rakings started out small but she was soon pulling in 15-20 bucks per week.
(She had worked out where we threw the counted out butts in the bin and was recycling them)
We were so horrified yet proud.
