For the love of God, let DeSantis take the reigns! He's proven he will mop the floor with whoever runs against him.
It's like fuck, stfu already
DeSantis is the future
now what the venomous smear campaign begin from the vermin on the left
Americans don't want Trump, Biden, Hillary or Elizabeth Warren. My only interest in American politics is it's effect on global economic stability. The Dems are nuts, so the GOP is the adult at the economic stewardship table.
The GOP should copy what the Dems did in 2016 and rig the nomination for the Florida governor like the jackass party did for Hillarity against crazy Bernie. Trump will cry, but let him.
The only thing standing in the way of a DeSantis presidential win in 24 is Donald Trump.
Exactly. Time to fall back and shut up.
Imo, this needed to happen. DeSantis needs to be the focus now.

I don't follow American politics, but is this DeSantis any good? I see he's served in the Iraq war, which is a massive step up from the last two clowns that America voted in.
The last few years has really drained the life out of forums as far as Trump vs Biden discussions go. You'll have to really monitor the political crap here Flea, lest we have another BF downward spiral.
To be fair, you don't see Australians or Poms going on endlessly about their political affairs, even though we know that most politicians are generally full of shit.

Nice one. The usual suspects will just tire us all out. They have their political points of view and it'll be a case of just glossing over the mindless drivel.
So many talented and artistic members across many boards are lost because of an unrelenting boring few... it's not even entertaining in the least.
I think the only entertaining thing about Biden was his gaffs and farting/sharting live on air. And as for that Trump fuckwit, he can cause a riot in seconds. That sets a dangerous precipice for America and her allies on the world stage.
Let's make forums great again...

That is a valid point. Abortion was the second biggest issue among voters. The SCOTUS decision on Roe v Wade was a pyrrhic victory for pro life Republicans.

DeSantis is the rock star of the maga movement. He is awesome.
Careful where you get your info on him though. He gets lied about by the mainstream establishment cuck media. If you are really curious about him, just go right to the FL gov site where you can read everything he has done in Florida. He is very loved by his based.
And he cunt punts the press whenever they try to build false narratives about him lol.

Cocaine Mitch isnt one of us. He is one of them. Lindsey likes to try to play both sides.
I'm not blaming Trump at all....his endorsements did good.
Now that I'm somewhat over the gut punch that happened yesterday in my state......the election was pretty close here. Even though democrats jumped abortion propaganda and we have many people who are so dumb and ignorant that fell for the "Tudor is gonna ban abortion and arrest doctors" idiocy.
The level of politcal discourse for the Michigan women who voted Shitmer? "Protect your cooter. Dont vote Tudor". So vulgar lies is as deep as they get.
All this "vote like your daughters future depends on it....it does".
Because our daughters future doesnt require jobs, a good economy, affordable costs of living and their liberties or anything, right? Our daughters future is getting poked and revoked by some guy and getting on an abortion table. THATS the future for the daughters of Shitmers base.
Uhg it's so disgusting. I'm not really all the way over it yet.....its gonna take a while. 58.8 percent of Michigan voters passed prop 2. So they decided to kill our voting power. Now people can vote by mail 9 days early and no ID is required. Prop 2 is the most tragic thing that happened. Voting away your own votes.
Fucking morons.
When it was Graham, McConnell, McCain, and Bush running the GOP, I voted 3rd Party (Constitution Party) and will again if they go back there. As far as DeSantis, I'll vote for him if he's the guy but right now, TRUMP 2024!!! Trump has done everything to strengthen the GOP while the RINO's continue to fuck it up.

And that is why the leftist media is looking to fan as much division as they can, forcing MAGA republicans to pick a side when in truth you could have both. That scares the crap out of the progs, as much as it does the neo-cons and neo-libs. Four more years of Trump they cannot abide, and if they can sucker DeSantis into dropping the ball in Florida to try his hand at getting around the fortifications at the federal level while they shuffle some Disney friendly lacky to assume the gubernatorial position, then so much the better.
You should all be saying "fuck that shit". I agree, DeSantis is good, his place at the moment however is in Florida where his results have enjoyed wildly popular support. I also agree that after close to eight years worth of character assassination, Trump's name is mud in certain quarters, but the bad press didn't stop him kicking ass 2016-20 and earning three Nobel Peace Prize nominations from the international community. He should be your first pick for 2024. If you secure the senate, you might do a lot worse than to install him as house speaker, placing him but two impeachments away from the Commander in Chief spot. That would really give your opponents something to go "REEEEEEEE" about.
Keep DeSantis in your back pocket a few more years. The guy is good and will acquit himself admirably in the gubernatorial slot of a revived and booming Florida. 2024 should be a Trump/Paul ticket, then Paul/DeSantis in 2028 and 2032, then DeSantis for eight years in 2036. And who knows, maybe by that time the DemonKKKrats might have unclogged their pipes by that stage and actually bothered to cough up a platform worthy of consideration, if not actually voting for.
This is assuming Trump intends to run. We don't have a definite on that just yet, but while it does seem a safe bet given the amount of braying the donkeys have been doing, I put it to you they literally have nothing better to offer than division and demoralization within our ranks.
Don't give in to them. They spent eight years amplifying everything they could to make him look bad because he wouldn't feed their war machine. If peace and prosperity comes at the cost of a rampaging loudmouth scaring the foreign cunts into line and the zipper-tittied wokeists into chopping their own genitals off, turn him loose in the white house and reap the rewards.

SHOCK POLL: DeSantis Beating Trump By SEVEN After Midterms — Brutal Swing of 29 Points In Days
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis beat former President Donald Trump by a convincing seven points in a post-midterm poll — a brutal swing of 29 points from a similar poll days earlier.
According to a new YouGov poll taken after the midterms and published Saturday, "More Republicans and Republican-leaning Independents now say they'd prefer DeSantis (42%) as their 2024 presidential nominee over Trump than say they'd prefer Trump to DeSantis (35%)."
The pollster notes that's a 17-point swing from a Yahoo! News/YouGov poll taken a month ago.
But the most recent pre-midterms poll with a similar sample size and pollster rating shows an even more brutal swing. Just days before the election, Trump led DeSantis by 22 points in a Morning Consult poll — a 29-point swing.
Time will tell if this shift sticks, but it was telling that when Trump began to mock DeSantis last week, Republicans were near-unanimous in taking the guv's side in that spat.

1. Picking our guy based on media bullshit it just more lemming stupidity on our part.
2. We did the same thing by picking Mittens and McCain. How'd the media treat them once they were our guys? Literally hitler reincarnate with a side of animal abuse! They already have branded DeSantis as literal hitler. Yall bettah axe somebody!!!!
3. ONLY Trump has the stones to fight these assholes on their own terms. No one else has EVER fought for the USA the way Trump has!!!!!
4. TRUMP 2024, ignore anything else you hear.

Take a look around you, it's definitely having an effect on those who this time last year would have cheered to hear Trump was running. Which is of course exactly what the left want. They can only succeed against Trump if they teach the whole world to hate him and they have been nothing if not effective in their progress towards that goal. Meanwhile, the elephant in the room continues to go unremarked. Tell me, do you not find it strange that so many school boards coast to coast can flip conservative, yet a supposedly free and fair election would go to the dogs... I mean the progs? "Yeah,we fixed our education system, how about we give you another two years to fuck it up again? Along with our military, the economy, law and order"...
I'm not buying it, I can all but guarantee you that when 2024 rolls around, that election will be employed in the hopes it will be stolen as effectively as the 2018. 2020 and it would appear the 2022 ones were. Those currently pinning their hopes on DeSantis will be flabbergasted to see how blatantly he gets thrown under the bus. Doubt me? By all means do, but the federal electoral system assuredly does not enjoy the levels of defortification that Florida does at the state level.
If I'm wrong or right, it makes no difference - Trump is still the candidate to run in 2024, in spite of the aparent blacpilling of the conservative voice here. He'll only have one term left to run, and it will be done in a no-fucks-given manner since he will not need to concern himself with his reelection chances. With his track record being what it is, I see no reason why he would not be pushing the US back to prominence as he did 2016-2020. And if the election is manipulated as it was in 2020, then hell, you've lost a loudmouth in an election you were set to have stolen from you anyway, along with any reasonable expectation that your election system was going to perform in the manner claimed on the tin.
Better than losing Desantis in the same manner I reckon. As it stands at the moment, he is on a good wicket in Florida. Should he burn that bridge after only two years to take a shot at the top job, the media will make mountains out of his absconding from his duties, along with everything else they can nail him to the wall over. He is being astroturfed for the top job at this moment precisely because the media and their masters are sure they can destroy his chances at the federal level, installing their preferred leftist puppet both in the white house as well as in Florida.
Feel free to print this post out in the event everyone is trolled into accepting him as the 2024 Republican nominee. If we allow the left to poison us against the guy who gave us four years of prosperity and hope for a better future, DeSantis... for all the hope placed in him today... will be buried under a pile of shenanigans two years hence.
There won't be a chance for a do-over, but at least you'll know for sure I was right.

Agree 100%. Most of the never Trumpers are just repeating what they've been told by the news. Its brainwashing and they dont even realize it.

Floridians should jealously guard DeSantis as governor with their lives before they see him in the D.C. organ grinder.

...and the progs and the uniparty want to astroturf him as the front runner for the republicans in 2024. Pretty blatant troll, I'm surprised that anyone would be buying into it.

So the media keeps bleating. Considering everything they've got wrong over the last two and a half years (Covid origin, maskerbation, "vaccine" mandates, lockdowns, the Biden's corrupt dealings with Burisma, the economy, who fucked Paul Pelosi up etc etc etc), it would almost qualify as a sympathy fuck if that broken clock would be right even once a day.

I think the only entertaining thing about Biden was his gaffs and farting/sharting live on air. And as for that Trump fuckwit, he can cause a riot in seconds. That sets a dangerous precipice for America and her allies on the world stage.

This has to be Sum Cunt.
And I agree with all of this. Perfect! I'd definately vote DeSantis in 2024 but I'd rather have Trump and then 8 years of DeSantis. We can and should eek another term out of Trump.

Trump is the weakest candidate and would lose again.
And yet polling aggregates show him leading the presidential nomination at more than double the approval rating of Ron DeSantis. Who (unless I am very much mistaken) has not even indicated he intends to run yet. Even if he does, that likely increases Trump's lead even further, given his previous debate performances. I don't know if you noticed, but he tends to do exceptionally well at insulting his challengers.
I still don't believe he lost last time either; if he had genuinely lost the vote, the democrats would have had no problem whatsoever in allowing the most minutest scrutiny of the polling data if only for the purposes of demoralizing those pesky MAGA deplorables. Instead they moved heaven and earth to hide it all away, if not outright destroy it... not even the UN by its own playbook would consider 2020 to be a free and fair election and they have questioned third world tinhorn regimes for far less.
That said, he may very well "lose" 2024, but it certainly won't be because of weakness or that his in-party support was lacking, or because he called a few people naughty names on social media or even because DeSantis got in the ring with him. I even doubt lawfare is going to take him out, since even CNN and MSN are questioning that tactic now.
No, the only thing that's likely to prevent him from going full Grover Cleveland on their bitch asses is election interference that is even more blatantly overt than what was openly admitted to after the fact by WaPo. The Deep State cannot countenance any further interruptions to their plans and the very fact they are attempting to astro-turf DeSantis into the nomination tells me that hitching the wagon to anyone other than Trump is a mistake that can only cost us all dearly.
The swing voters are swinging towards the GOP. Best not to let them down, especially if 2016 is any guide.
That is only a recent shift largely due to DeSantis fumbling about Ukraine and the rally around the flag effect Trump got after the political kangaroo charges Democrats wrongly targeted him with. We will see if they are sustainable or if they are just a temporary bounce. In the general it still shows Trump loses but DeSantis wins against Biden.
Simple FACT is, Trump didnt lose against biden. The election was rigged AF.

RCP aggregate polling has shown in party support for Donald Trump (//https) consistently ahead of DeSantis and by a comfortable margin for as long as I can remember, so I don't know where you're pulling your figures from. I would hope it isn't the MSM, they have figuratively and literally been wrong on everything for a long time now, though it hasn't stopped them from attempting to manufacture consent where they can.
And a growing number of "normies" are waking up to that fact. The weaponization of the legacy media and judicial systems, the exorbitant funding of overseas military actions and special interest minorities while bugger all attention is paid to the rising cost of living or the underlying societal structure,.. they're looking at the consistent hit pieces which havle plagued this "worse than Hitler" character and recognising a few truths in this Punch and Judy show... that their institutions have been lying to them non-stop.
For all the attempts to astroturf him into the primaries, DeSantis has not declared he is running yet and he might not decide to run at all. But if he does, he will be running against a technical incumbent who enjoys more than 50% in party support with a core of MAGA faithful who will not look kindly on the competition. You might expect them to walk from the GOP as Bernie supporters did when Madam Klithorn railroaded him out of the nomination in 2016. If the GOP were to pull a similar stunt at Trump's expense, then the GOP are as good as declaring their loss in 2024... and if they don't, then Donald steamrollers the crap out of DeSantis royally in the primaries and potentially ends his political aspirations in the debates. Those "messy primaries" the uniparty is begging for... probably fall as flat as every other attempt they've made to sideline Trump in that it only ends up boosting his chances. Kind of like a Caskur hex but on steroids really.
I imagine DeSantis is aware of all this, that is why he hasn't declared a run so far. I cannot speak for him of course, but I know that in his boots I would be inclined to play a waiting game, given that Trump effectively only has one more shot at the cherry anyway and the presidency will be ripe for the taking in 2028... presumably with the endorsement of those who are now solidly in favour of Trump and the benefit of a demoralized Democrat base who have at last been deprived of their sole platform policy, namely "we're not Trump".
DeSantis might feel differently of course, but he is on a pretty good wicket where he is in Florida at this point and might be reluctant to throw that away on the uncertainty of a presidential run that (at this stage at least) could very well cost him all his hard earned gains and leave him with nothing. Time will tell.
Yes, I already said that. Trump is polling better with primary voters while EeSantis polls better in the general election against Biden. Trump is the weakest candidate in the general election.
Trump got at least 74 million votes last time. In 24, that number will go up.

The politically driven indictment has had the effect of galvanizing Trump's support within the party. But, that will not help in a general election.

Not to worry, I'm used to being proved right on such matters, I expect to be proved right here too. 2016 saw blue support tank in spite of the "blue no matter who" mantra after Hillary fucked over the Bernie Bros, it will be the same for the GOP if they make the mistake of astro-turfing DeSantis into the nomination at Trump's expense.
Remember this exchange if and when it happens, also understand that if and when it does, it will be far too late for anyone to salvage the situation at that point.
I will remember it and remind you when Trump wins for a 3rd time.
I'm sure you will. And I will probably roll my eyes at you and hand you a packet of Crayolas to munch on. Om-nom-nom-nom.
Maybe try stepping back from the keyboard and assessing what I've actually written for five minutes. See if you can spot where you just argued my point for me.

No need. I've assessed that Trumps getting the nom weather you or anyone else likes it or not. Any "independent" that supports biden is a democrat, BTW. Those "independents" wont even vote for mittens romneycare. How do I know? Well, we already saw it. Thats right, Trump would have been a better candidate in 2012 too.

And I said he was the more likely contender, so feel free to explain to me why you felt the need to jump down my throat about it. I've long recognised the technical incumbency he represents, have observed his near doubling of DeSantis in terms of in-party support and know well enough you not only need the nomination to stand a hope in Hades of running for the presidency, you need to actually be IN the running first.
Hence my comments to Oerdin, who in spite of everything seems to think it is DeSantis and not Trump who the GOP should put on the ticket. To which I have explained to him that which I have just enumerated (again) while you chimp out as if my stance were anything but.
Put down the crayons, go back and read what I've written. Feel free to get a competent adult to explain any Big Words that might have you confused, I've already stated Trump is the one who should have the nomination, whether the election gets stolen from the GOP a second time or not. Particularly if the GOP has the election stolen from them a second time... a definite possibility if enough of your type gets confused over arguments as basic as the ones I've trotted out.
