I considered getting another round of lipo but it's not sensible when I can lose the weight by dieting and exercise.

If you can afford Lipo why not invest in a personal trainer and have healthy premade meals made instead?



The truth is you have to stick to the diet and put in the extra work in the gym otherwise what's the point?



Now Go grab your dog(s) and go for a jog/hike and pump some tunes on your headphones...then go to your local gym go lift to get your heavy resistance training in and go for a swim since it is a great low resistance workout.

my husbands neice has been doing this and it seems to have worked ok.



 She strickly diets Monday to Friday then eats whatever she wants on the weekends.



And she does the intermittent exercise thingy.

I can afford it but then I can't, if that makes sense. My hub pays all the bills, so I can afford it. But sensible me says I need to be saving instead of altering my body again lol

Dont deprive yourself. Thats jus' asking for it, especially for it to come back faster.



Dont do no carb, do moderate carb. Like 50-100 carbs a day. It will keep you balanced, vs doing no carb, cause it will come back faster. Also, every gram of fiber, you can deduct a gram of carbs.



Mediterranean type food is best. I mostly eat seafood and poultry. Tuesday I mostly do hamburger for tacos, but switch it up to shrimp tacos sometimes. I use corn shells, not flour.



Same with my lunch, I use whole grain, not white bread. I RARELY do white bread. Maybe for hotdogs. My burgers, most time I do bunless. I even made a song about "not having buns for my meat" hahahaha.



Avoid sugar best you can, that seems to be the doozy. But dont deprive yourself, simply moderate yourself. I lost a lot of weight when I simply quit sodas. Avoid Diet drinks, they are loaded with bad substitute sugar. Stevia good. I use these Natural Lemon flavor packets to add to my water, has 1 gram of sugar. Lemon is also a natural fat burner.



Ya gotta move and exercise!!! Doing chores dont cut it lol. Trust, by doing some simple exercises, you will regain your energy. Even simple dancing will help.



I dont do breakfast, but your body might need it. We all designed different lol. My breakfast is coffee, which invigorates your metabolism. I do a light lunch, whole grain turkey sammich, and tater chips. By dinner, I eat a good meal. I "try" to avoid snacks after, but I dont beat myself up if I eat something light.



Most the time, you're really not hungry, but simply thirsty. Grab that bottle of water before a snack sometimes!

See...this is how I was doing it from 2019-2021. I completely fell off this year. I had an internal setting that knew what I could and could not eat. Plus I did a lot of exercising. I'm so busy but I need to set time to do some walking, even if it's a few times around the block

Im turning 51 in 10 days, I have 6 pack abs, I walk two KM's everyday, I sit-up 100x, I chin-up 50, I surf....I eat what the fuck I want to!

Im literally the same size as Bruce Lee hahaha. Height and weight. Only thing is, my muscles aint as defined as his, but I've been working on toning up. My arms and shoulders and chest have gotten way better, simply from doing pushups every day. My legs from dancing all Summer lol. Starting to see abs! I switched from regular crunches, to bicycle kicks, which are way better. I actually researched what exercise did best for abs, and it was those kicks, second was the planks, but I havent done those yet.

I know what you were doing, you were doing Keto. Keto is no carb, Keto is bad lol, cause you gain the weight back faster when you start eating carbs. I TRIED telling you lol.



Gotta do it kinda like Caskur said, cheat on the weekend. Me, I dont limit myself to a certain cheat day, instead I'll incorporate cheats here and there. Like I might do chicken one night, fish the next, then a frozen pizza lol. I had pork BBQ yesterday, gonna have more today, then tacos tomorrow!



For sweets, I keep a box of Reeses Pieces, and after dinner, if I HAVE to have a sweet, I'll grab about a dozen pieces, and eat a few at a time, to "curb the craving". Better to eat some small pieces of something sweet, vs a bowl of ice cream or brownies or something lol.



I feel ya on needing time, from being so busy. I use to exercise after work, but I was always so tired after work, I kept skipping. Now, I do it in the morning before work. My exercises only takes 5 minutes. And 5 minutes is better than no minutes at all. Think of it that way.... if you do nothing, you are no further along than if you had done something. Something better than nothing.

Not what I expected you to look like!!!



My heaviest, I was 190. Was when I quit smoking cigs in my early 20's, and was driving a cab. Gained 50 pounds! I was 130/140 coming out of high school lol. Then I went back to delivering pizzas, and lost 45 of the gained pounds. Im normally 150 in the Summer, 160 in Winter. Hoping to stay lean and trim through the Winter this year, and come out shining in the Spring lol.

Nice spring or summer weather almost 365 days of the year. Sunny too.



That should allow any person living in SoCal to exercise whenever they want. That should give you almost infinite time to exercise and lose weight. We dont have that luxury here. Plus you have fresh fruit and vegetables that you could even grow in yer back yard. Just live offa them for 6 mos with minimal amt of protein added and ya'd lose weight in no time flat.



Its cold outside in Vancouver right now. 30 F or so. I think ya'd be solid frozen ifya jumped offa plane on Vancouver right now.



Heck if I lived in LA I'd be on tip top shape.



You folks in SoCal have no excuse for bein overweight.

On the real though, think of it like this too..... sweets are a temporary high. You savor the flavor, your brain releases chemicals from enjoying it. BUT, too much of a good thing like sweets, will wind up giving you depression because then you start gaining weight, and you dont feel as sexy. Would you rather enjoy sweets and weight, or SOME sweets and look sexy  ac_dance

Why don't we all take some online courses say in Psychology, Physics and Mechanics and do some cardio and weightlifting maybe mix in some BJJ with some ITF taekwondo.

Don't think of dieting to lose weight....instead think of a healthier lifestyle....give yourself food boundaries....because when you start getting at middle age, your body can't handle all the crap ypu use to put into it....you had a good run....you ate all those Chimichangas and sugary/salty crap....You're gonna have to eat healthy and exercise everyday.

Staying fit, is about 75% food and 25% exercise.



I have put a few pounds on cause I can't move fast or go for a little jog....I miss my job cause somedays were like a constant little jog.....I cpuld eat whatever I wanted.   I can't wait to walk freely again...when I can, I am going out to walk and jog around everywhere ffs...

Ya gotta move and exercise!!! Doing chores dont cut it lol. Trust, by doing some simple exercises, you will regain your energy. Even simple dancing will help.



I dont do breakfast, but your body might need it. We all designed different lol. My breakfast is coffee, which invigorates your metabolism. I do a light lunch, whole grain turkey sammich, and tater chips. By dinner, I eat a good meal. I "try" to avoid snacks after, but I dont beat myself up if I eat something light.



Most the time, you're really not hungry, but simply thirsty. Grab that bottle of water before a snack sometimes!

Keto is NO carb though. Keto is good for short term, but is bad for long term, because once the carbs start again, the weight comes back faster. Thats why I suggest Light Carb, which is 50-100 carbs per day. It balances better.



One must also remember, to increase protein if decreasing carbs, for energy!!!

About the carbs now that you've mentioned it all makes sense, when I started my carb eating habit a few years ago, I keep thinking about eating carbs again for my next meal and now it turns into a staples diet for all my meals, at first I didn't pay much attention to the crave feeling and thought it was normal.

Its true on the carbs!!! Im a victim!! hahahaha. When the carb attack happens, I tend to eat something salty, then sweet, then salty, then sweet, until I tell myself STOP!!! hahaha. This mostly happens to me in the Winter. The warm months I do real good about not snacking as much. I think our bodies tell us "layer up some fat! Its cold outside!"  :laugh:

Also if you enjoy eating bad foods either go for a jog or hit the gym or  just become bulimic. That way you get  to binge and purge and keep a figure... Not recommended but many famous people do it all the time...Outside for general health and personal wellbeing comparing yourself to others makes no logical sense.

I dont count calories at all. Calories is energy. Its them carbs and sugars that are the ones to watch.



Nah, I dont compare myself to others, I just like being slim and trim. I wanna stay healthy, and it keeps me light on my toes  ac_dance
