 I'm just pointing out that much like the US Civil War....the realities of it are more nuanced and complicated than its presented to us. And if you address that with some they lash out as if you are in approval of it. These matters are often deeper.



 And the truth being avoided and the topic being simplified pretty well guarantees we learn nothing. We don't learn the lesson. So we are seeing the same old fall into totalitarian thinking that was present back then.



 I've heard some say the nazis actually won...they moved to the US.  And I dont mean the empty "ur a nahzi!" the left likes to shriek at their opposition. I mean actual nazis came here and started getting involved in our institutions. Not sure what I think of that.

I very much doubt that Hitler died in 1945. The indications are he escaped to Argentina along with the rest of the German top brass. It makes zero sense for him to have stayed behind and committed suicide, the claim reeks of Allied and Soviet cope. Imagine claiming "victory" without capturing or killing the enemy leader? It kinda puts a dampener on the celebrations, doesn't it? It's easier to lie and claim that one of Hitler's many doubles was in fact him.



After the war had officially ended, the Americans and British got word that Hitler was in Antarctica and immediately deployed a battleship to find and capture any remaining Nazis.
