I let this man take away Halloween, for the sake of argument. Now he wants Santa gone.
It may sound petty, but I'm getting REAL tired of it. Just sayin

				Lmao!
So this is what we do. This might help
We dont teach Santa like.....a magic fat guy that brings gifts BUT we do tell the story and that it's based on a Catholic saint who took money to the poor to honor Jesus....and who is known for punching heretics lol.
So we DO involve Santa, but not in the way were we are lying to our daughter or taking the focus off of God ...who this holiday is about.
Now....if he starts freaking about Yule and talking about pagans and how Christmas trees are idols? CALL ME. I have solid and biblical rebuttals, as well as a bunch of pagan AND church history to handle that.  ac_drinks

Now he's watching YT's on why not to celebrate Christmas.
Can't we just be normal ffs?!

Jeff Durbin has some videos addressing all of that.

				I like Christmas.
I was thinking of getting a Christmas turkey this time.
We usually eat Christmas ham.
Americans eat turkey and it does look tasty in the movies.

What's his beef with Christmas? The fact that Jesus was actually born some time in Sept or the fact that Christmas has it's roots in Paganism?
Or both?

The last one. He says it's about Jesus, not the other stuff

There is a lot of controversy surrounding Thanksgiving too, yet he was willing to stuff his face wasnt he lol?
You should get a list of Holidays he approves of, and why. Same with the ones he dont approve of, and why. Its not fair on you or your family if he wants to have his own beliefs, and no one else is allowed theirs.
Here is my opinion on Christmas..... I hate it hahaha. When I use to go to church, I knew "we celebrate Jesus birthday on Christmas". But then later in life I found out, that his birthday was in September or some shit like Biggie said. Then found out it was a Pagan holiday. So to me, especially in the past couple decades, it has become super commercialized, getting worse and worse every year. I dont even like the whole gift giving thing. I usually try and get my Son a gift, but all the other youngins are grown, and dont reach out, so I dont feel obliged. Plus most my folks dead anyway.
I do like family and friends getting together, to eat and talk, but thats it. And we do that on Thanksgiving haha. So I favor Thanksgiving more than Christmas these days. If it was up to me, I'd pig out and enjoy Thanksgiving, then hibernate like a bear til St. Patrick's day hahahaha. Maybe wake me up for New Years, and then I'll go back to bed lol.
Here is a fun fact, TRUE Southerners dont like to celebrate Independence Day. Because the Yankees took away our Independence. States had more power than government back in the day.
As far as the Pagans, they get a bad wrap. I see a lot of good. Of course it all depends on the person, because you cant just lump Paganism under one umbrella, its not like that. I dont like the fact that the Crusaders tried wiping out the Pagans. A lot of Pagans were simply spiritual, and loved nature.
Anyway, thats my coffee post of the day lol.

Y'all should celebrate, in honor of all the Pagans that died because of Christians hahahaha.

In Ireland they were murdering infants in ritual sacrifices.
I really am astounded that we have come so far down the timeline that we romanticize pagans. These were the brutal killers in human history. They torture killed people.
And all that Balenciaga shit? Satanic pagan diety worship.
Pagan gods like Ba'al, Ishtar (azeroth), Molech...their names shit depending on the country but it's the same demons. The same battle. Pagans were NEVER peaceful.
 Dont believe their victim narratives
You know the surviving native tribes were worshipping the Great Spirit.  They had a natural sense of Yahweh. Of you examine their belief in the Great Spirit of nature? They had a primitive belief in Yahweh. Hence why they took to Jesus so naturally and easily.

It's because the elites want to paint the constitution and liberal order of America as inherently racist and built on racism so they can brainwash a generation....one that's already on psych drugs and all messed up...to fight to turn our rights and liberties over to an elite few.
That's what this is. Its marxist cultural subversion and the objective is to oppress and enslave Americans. To undo the liberal order. To "dismantle" the foundations of the country
Its devastating to see. And I really hope I'm dead before they succeed.

Most religions were brutal and abusive. Pagan ones especially.  I'll give you some were less brutal than others. Some were more into self flagellation as well. They carve themselves up and mark themselves and thrash themselves.  Elijah in the bible had an encountered with them.
Hindus get painted as spiritual and intriguing as well but they are horribly abusive.

Am I a pagan? No.
Do you consider those that celebrate Halloween and Christmas as Pagans?
I have all kinds of friends. Some of which belong to a Viking group, they are Pagans. But they are family/friend loving folk. They gather on the full moon and do rituals, but none do I see as "evil". Normally they are simply having a bonfire, drinking mead, smoking weed. Every now and then, they make an offering in the fire, such as some mead, or some meat. A few of the guys are fire twirlers, and do really good. On the Winter Solstice, they had a wreath burning. You took the wreath, lit a candle, invited a lost loved one to join, and placed the candle on the wreath, then passed it to the next person. Til it got all the way around the circle, a moment was given, then they tossed it on the fire. We never tossed babies on the fire

but that is to be expected when people insist on remaining ignorant

Catholics did that.....I think the Salem trials were puritans. It was really bad among the british (killing "witches")
Really sad sad blight in church history.
Catholics have murdered Christian's outside of the witch trials.  They persecuted protestants and reformers.

You gotta understand something about the pagan thing.  They dont present it with the brutality today. Its gotta be romantic.
The deities all demand blood sacrifice and the death of children.  The tame and harmless and altered stuff is what we see well meaning people who want that connection to cultures past engage in.
If you dove into the history of pagan beliefs....you got women dancing nude around bonfires drunk on wine and blood ripping infants up. And I'm not exaggerating.
The witch paranoia came from dealing with pagans.
People who drink the mead and have bonfires and make wreaths and shit call themselves pagan but it's not authentic paganism. Really it's best to avoid all of that because those wreaths invite spirits....so do the runes, the bone casting, using cats as spirit guides....et. I know all about this stuff.
