Azhya Aryola had a couple of threads for movies and shows, but I cannot find them.
I watch the seven part series True Story. I give it a nine out of ten.
The movie The Little Things with Denzel Washington aint that good.
The Unholy :negative:
My kid has been playing Lee Daniels Star.....Its a good show.
If I could recommend The Chosen....a series about fhe life of Jesus and people who knew him....it's well filmed! You don't need to be religious or anything, it's worth the watch!
I haven't watched anything really good in quite a while.
I watched Little Man with Marlon Wayans. It is an older movie and frickin funny.
I haven't had enough time to watch anything lately.
I watch more shows in the winter months. Around May 1 I'm done with shows until October. When I move to Singapore, I'm done with all of it permanently.
About the only thing I watch is Yellowstone. Punchin and killin...I love it. My wife and I started watching The Last of Us when it first came out. They had that episode where Ron Swanson was an ass lickin faggit so I checked out. After 4 weeks of not watching it, my wife asked me if I wanted to watch any more of it and I said nope, I checked out cause of the faggotry. I read that there was another episode where the bad guy in the last episode was quoting the Bible. It pissed off some "Christians". I guess ass lickin faggits is OK in "Christianity" these days.
The old lady and I are getting a free preview of Prime. So far, I have only watched Memory. I just started watching a series called The Man in the High Castle. It's a what if where the Axis powers of Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan rule the world after their victory in World War II. Germany and Japan have divided the United States into the Greater Nazi Reich in the east, with New York City as its regional capital, and the Japanese Pacific States to the west, with San Francisco as the capital.
I want like to see Everything Everywhere All at Once starring Michelle Yeoh before the weather gets nice. It's supposed to be absurb, but a good winter time waster.

Man in the High Castle is good but a number of years old now.
I watched Murphy's War with Peter O'Toole last night... about a UK sailor that survives a Uboat gunning down his whole ship's crew while overboard in the water so he pursues this uboat first by a pontoon plane he has to teach himself to fly, along with makeshift bombs tied to the wings and when that doesn't work, a barge..with a German torpedo that missed the barge and beached, and that he retrieved with a crane and dropped on them while they're stuck underwater on a river bank..
Surprisingly hilarious.... in a dark humour way.
Also just finished the latest season of Carnival Row.
Almost gave up on The Last of Us, but the latest two episodes redeemed the show.
I havent played the games since they are PS only.
But if they stay loyal to the game plot, its gonna be good.
Apparently Joel is a raider/good guy... That whole thing was justified.
I´m amazed that the Woke hollywood is letting a man be a pissed off dad like that.

I watched that new Waco miniseries on Netflix. I thought it was going to be about the Branch Davidian cult. It was entirely about the raid on the compound.
When I hear showrunners say something like "we decided to try something new" or "we added our little touch to it"...
I dont watch the show because its gonna be historically inaccurate gay nigger fuck festival.
For some reason they think its something new, daring and unique.
I watched Tunnel Rats. It is different from other Vietnam War movies.
I began watching The Last of Us... I'm not sure, I'm too used to the actress who played Ellie in the video games, and the TV version of Ellie wasn't as cool...I doubt they'll follow the plot of The Last of Us 2 for season 2 because it takes 5 years after the events seen in season 1 and was brutal as hell, they'd have to hire a new actress to play Ellie and say buh bye to Joel.
I finally saw Many Saints of Newark. I liked the Sopranos and I liked the movie.
New Star Wars movies are coming..
The first Jedi is gonna be a black male or a woman.
And the oppressive forces he/she/they/them is fighting are gonna be exclusively white men.

It went woke years ago but now its most likely gonna be even woker.
Based on the resumes of the new directors..
"director, journalist whos known for films that highlight the inequality of women".
Plus none of these guys should be directing a big flagship movie like Star Wars... Its like giving the command of an army corps to a Corporal.
He is in the business but lacks the experience.
The 2015 - 2019 trilogy is just bad all around but they do bring in money because its Star Wars.

That movie is just lazy, badly written.
Its fantasy but shit still has to make sense and you cant just spawn a massive fleet of planet-killing copypaste stardestroyers out of thin air.
The wokeisms happened mostly in the previous movies.
Like Rey being able to defeat the life long lightsaber duelist Kylo Ren despite of having no experience whatsoever.
Girl power!
Luke Skywalker does duel Darth Vader in the old trilogy but Darth Vader is just playing around and cuts Lukes hand off.

The warm weather is here and I am too busy to be watching a lot of new shows and movies.
I can't really watch new shows. They're too jam packed with Negroes, gays, 'strong women', etc...
I miss the 1990's, when they could still produce a show with an all White and straight cast, where women didn't pretend to be men or vica versa.

I am watching less and less American shows and movies. I hate being preached to by woke Hollywood wankers. In the winter I was watching a lot of series and movies from countries like Poland, Turkey, and South Korea.
I watched Cobbler with Adam Sandler. I didn't think I would like it, but I did.
I watched Blood and Gold. It was good.
I watched We Die Young about MS-13. A good movie.
I watched Gully. It is a coming of age type movie set in the hood. It is really good.
I watched Yellowneck.... about a handful of confederate deserters....
But I fell asleep half way through and will have to go back and rewatch to see if my theory of the climax is true.
Oldie with Burt Lancaster...

It ran from 1978 to 1981 and used a lot of the same locations and crew as the classic Doctor Who episodes of the era. The special effects were hideously under-budgeted (like Doctor Who, the BBC weren't in the habit of spending big on sci-fi series) but the storylines and character development definitely put it streets ahead of US shows like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica.
The series was created by Terry Nation. You might remember him as the real world creator of the Daleks.

thanks for the heads up.
Some of the episodes are insanely dark. Real eye openers if you will.
There's a newer series called "Silo" which some might be interested in.
It's about a 10k string civilization underground roughly 150 years in the future, and people get "sent out to clean" aka a homicide/suicide on the topside... and meanwhile, the underground society is precarious and often morally corrupt...
That society shuts down dissension and kills those quietly who have a legitimate concern through media friendly avenues.
They also have cameras and audio recording devices behind every mirror.
It's worth a watch... same way that MASH was rolled out to deal with Vietnam through the scope of the Korean War.
