I operate a dump truck, and heavy equipment also to load me dumper truck up also, in some of the most rugged (and beautiful) terrain on Earth!

Do you own your own equipment, rent them, or does it belong to an employer?
I own just the dump truck, and rent or lease nothing so far, but I suppose I could if the job called for it and made it worthwhile.
All of the other equipment I'd currently ever be running is either owned or leased by the gravel pit or customer. It's not common for things to run this way in bigger cities, but here it's not uncommon for the supplier and customer to work out a deal for material, and it's cheaper to pay me my truck rate (all billed by the hour) to run the machines, than it is to bring in a loader operator who'd spend literally 1 hour loading in a 10 hour day.

There's some really neat places around here, where I wished I had taken some pics of... I'm not a fan of posting everything online, but the one dude that built a driveway to his new house that was so steep my truck could barely make it up in the dry SUMMER weather due to traction issues, is going to have fun with that in the winter! Things like that are fun to share...
I suppose I take the natural geography of BC for granted at times, since I was born and raised here and it's what I'm used to, but many others are not. It can be a breathtakingly beautiful place if in the right area at the right time.
Below is my front yard. To me, it's really nothing special to see, but everything special to actually own. Granted, some work is required to live with this, make no mistake, but I have to remind myself that I'm lucky to be where I am.
This region, for the small town feel it has, has actually quite a bit of history. Tesla himself actually installed the Sandon powerplant, which is still running to this very day!

Years ago I used to truck through the Southwestern US States, and the first time I witnessed the absolute desolate desert was quite shocking to me. We're talking Mojave and such... I couldn't believe people even lived there, but they do. I don't doubt the Mojave has its own innate beauty, I've seen the deserts of Australia and they can be pretty mindblowing too. But I know what I'd see if you'd pointed your camera skywards in that shot. I've seen it often enough over the Ottawa Valley and think it integral to making the colours of the landscape leap out at you with such vibrancy.
Canada is a good place. But for covid and the way the government leeches waeponized it against the people, I'd still be there.

The justice system is pathetic....after years of following judges orders, I gave up and started threatening those who were threatening me back...I also had to force no contact and restraining orders....not because a judge readily gave me one...because they never once looked at the evidence...only giving the idiot chance after chance...I took me threatening the person threatening and hurting me to get the restraining and no contact orders. That's pathetic already....not everyone can stand up for themselves in a court of law...they are scared abd don't know how the system works....the there's me...fed the fuck up and starting to threaten everyone until they leave me the fuck alone. We now have open liquor policies in BC. You can drink booze in parks. There is a very large public park near me...Town Center Park...there's a lake, sky train, stadium, field, track field, food, ice cream...play ground, water park for kids...abd you can openly drink alcohol there...its a shame!

I've been going for several years now. At the beginning...I wanted to physically harm a certain person...I was angry and hostile....the therapy has helped.
Just recently, my last session, my therapist says I have a break through and I have so much improvement...educating myself, standing up for myself and just being in the right space compared to where I was in the beginning.
It's amazing how some fucked in the head people can really damage others.

I don't doubt the Mojave has its own innate beauty, I've seen the deserts of Australia and they can be pretty mindblowing too. But I know what I'd see if you'd pointed your camera skywards in that shot. I've seen it often enough over the Ottawa Valley and think it integral to making the colours of the landscape leap out at you with such vibrancy.

In fact the concentration of secret agents on the ground there is deemed to be one of (if not the) highest of all national capitals. Given its proximity to the United States, I am inclined to believe it. The most visible superpower on the planet and just outside there is a well equipped staging area for foreign nationals to run clandestine operations from. Either in conjunction with allied interests or against them, both can happen just as easily, all the more so once the area is flooded with a bunch of NPCs who create a layer of camouflage for the spook to blend in with.

Everywhere I looked that's what it said...I was pissed off with the media last night...they're weren't reporting properly abd lying about stuff....I participated online during the election (viewing and chat) everyone was for UCP...not just Alberta...but people from around the world were supporting UPC. The thing is...UPC won and all the news can talk about is the NDP...Majority of Edmonton voted NDP...and that seemed to be the spot light.. not the actual fact UCP won.

This was known as far back as 2001. Possibly longer, but I'm going by the study mentioned in the article. So why have we had two whole decades of our governments doubling down on the diversity question? This is all parties mind you, though to varying degrees. I realise this might be interpreted as a red rag to the Nationalists to run in trumpeting "see, we were right" and you may yet feel some conflict at being seen on the same side as the "bigots" and "racists" polite society has long accused them of being. You seem to be fairly accepting of people from a good number of ethnic backgrounds, even if the same cannot be said for the ideological. As an aggregate, the two tend to go hand in hand more often than we like to admit. My own experience suggests that there are exceptions to this rule of course; the lion's share tends to form enclaves (ie: Chinatown, Little Italy etc) and with predictable results.
Whatever the reasons our *ahem* "representatives" in the halls of power might have for pushing the multicultural paradigm when they suspected it was a venture doomed to fail from the start can be debated at length. I like rural and small town white Canadians who work and contribute. They are getting fukt over as badly by white, urban libtard assholes as conservative East Asian, SE Asian, South Asian and Nigerian immigrants are. Mel, I don't want all this costly, but pointless climate alarmist horseshit, but urban white libtards force it on us. I don't want a 15 minute city that gives city hall the authority to dictate where I can go and how I spend money, but white libturds say it is necessary to combat the "climate crisis." Like most immigrants that came here the proper way, I know immigration levels are way too high and unsustainable. Municipalities across Canada are struggling to cope with the strain on schools, hospitals and roads that mass immigration causes.
Actually, urban white libtards don't want skilled immigrants from across the Asian continent. They want mass refugee acceptance from places like East Africa and Latin America. They tend to support libtard causes.
Anecdotally, my neighbourhood was a sea of orange signs in our provincial election. My riding is about 60% white and they were the homes that had dipper signs. About 35% of the riding is Asian(mostly Chinese, Filipino and EI) and I didn't see any orange signs on their lawns. That pisses off white libturds. I voted NDP, but we had no orange sign on our lawn. I don't want white libturds to think they've beaten us down.
Well said, and I don't disagree.
As a dude who's about as White as they come, there's a few reasons for my peoples behaviour, which may make sense to you:
1: We're independent in nature, which I believe is an evolutionary trait that permitted our survival to continue in the North Western European climate at that time.
2: Christianity 'united' us independent people, and it worked well enough for a long time. Unfortunately, Christianity is no different than a biker gang now. If you can't contribute to the church/club, you're fucking out. The Christian church would rather spend money to import a thousand niggers that will become their congregation, than to help out a White dude with no strings attached.
3: Canada was a relatively White country until more recently. Can you believe that the first real life nigger I was ever in direct contact with, was on a High School field trip into Seattle in the 1990's?
4: Champagne Liberals. They DO live in nice White areas here. Safe, clean, no niggers, no injuns. These are the worst, since they preach harder than Jim Bakker about everything. They don't give a fuck about anything, but they just pretend they do. I can spot them from a mile away. Usually they're lower class Whites that have found that the only accepted way to not conform is to hate their own race. And even their own gender now...
Trust me. Many of us, both White and Coloured, are starting to question the regime once again.

In larger cities this would never happen, truckers loading their own shit. Most wouldn't know how to, would probably damage something if they tried, may be too scared to even try, and might open themselves up to liability if something did happen.

That old truck is in the shop for less time than the new emissions controlled junk are, has never let a customer down, and I can replace a side mirror for $30 instead of $500+ that the new powered plastic pieces of shit mirrors cost.
I'm old school. This is a working truck, and will never look new or pretty, but it is fully paid for. I don't have to get desperate when work is slow and undercut the competition to get jobs like the EI's do. Pay the rate, or it sits parked.
