Being the collector that I am, lately I've gotten interested in Confederate States of America memorobila and collectibles.
Turns out, it's prohibitively expensive to collect such items.
so it's somewhat ironic that typical White Southerners such as Blazor probably can't afford to own a piece of their own heritage...unless it was passed onto them by some ancestor.
ie...checked some websites which had some authentic CSA items for sale.
This authentic Confederate States of America penny now sells for a measely $211,000 US:

...and a replica or restrike of the original Confederate half dollar sells for just $19,200 US

Actually, a bargain since the Original is valued at $1 million or more.
And here's something a bit more affordable at less than $10,000 US:

Irony is...only the descendants of wealthy plantation owners could afford such items.
Be interesting to own a piece of history tho...if one could afford it!
As for an original Stars & Bars Battle Flag, it's at least $100,000 these days:

Quote
t was April 1865 and the Union had just declared victory. A rebel soldier with the 9th Virginia Cavalry was preparing to hand over his weapons. He kept only the clothes on his back and, in a final act of rebellion, hid a Confederate battle flag by tying it around his torso. Over a century later, the flag, deemed one of the rarest relics from the Civil War, sold for $82,000 at auction.
Hopefully, we have another civil war real soon.
