I hoped posters like Raven and Dove would post more often with guest posting. Even Admin's TDS spam would be an improvement over Ed using guest posting to attack registered posters while using women's names. The owner of VF realized that made guest posting not worth it.
i'm for free speech without a doubt.... but i think there should always be some form of accountability as well.... guest posting removes any form of accountability.... it also seems to remove their common sense....

There is a reason after trying guest posting your forum owner decided it was not a good fit. Eddie can post here, but he will have to register just like everybody else at VF and here.

It will not hurt my feelings if it is scrapped. If Eddie wants to nip at our heels, he is welcome to register just like the rest of us and just like your forum requires.

I managed to abide by the forum rules just fine.... probably a good thing since I had a ton of IPs I could employ to get around any attempts to ban me... and you were among the many who were content to judge my posts on their merits, not the person making them. ac_biggrin

i learned alot about forums from watching evs.... shes wise beyond her years as far as forums go.... i know alot of ppl look sideways at VF but its a hell of a good forum as far as i'm concerned.... probably the most comfortable place i've been online....

I like the owner of VF, but I would never join her forum. Particularly the way it is now.
I came from Topix and I know that is gone and nothing that good is possible anymore. Since my time online is finite, I will stick with TBC.
