Who are they trying to bannish?
Sometimes sites will utilize an extension, such as Spamhaus, which I'll assume they've just implemented today, to keep out spammers.
Unfortunately those don't work, and block out more legit IP addresses than they do spammers from Russia, simply due to the way IP address blocks are rotated.

Unfortunately those don't work, and block out more legit IP addresses than they do spammers from Russia, simply due to the way IP address blocks are rotated.
I remember a few years ago that Spanhaus shit kept me out for few days.

Yep. Spamhaus blanket banned the entire Kootenay region here for months (a region the size of New Jersey), but Administrators always know best, and certainly would never take my word for things.

It's an extension added on to the forum software. The user cannot disable it. The Administrator has to disable it, which would take about 10 seconds to do.
It's not a problem for me, since I can post from a million proxies, but it could be a problem for others. Right now, my IP addy originates from Europe.

All you have to do is disable whatever spam-block extension was recently implemented.
It's not a big deal for me to proxy up, but when legit IP addy blocks start getting blanket banned, it's something an Admin should know about.
