I like to avoid North American politics as a rule. However, I saw an interview with him. He is a lawyer and an excellent speaker. He's the guy to watch in the Republican debates. He could emerge as a dark horse candidate that surprises people. Like Herman Cain once was for a little while.

He has never held elected office so he is an unknown. I have to know more about his policies. But, he is smart.
Yeah, he was in the pharma business and started a couple of companies which he eventually sold off. I hear he is now a billionaire and wants to get into politics but has never held any office before. Not even a local office.

I hate North American politics. It is just the opposite here. We have a sitting pm who has been convicted twice of ethical breaches. There is evidence of criminal wrongdoing in regards to a relationship he had with an underage girl while he was a teacher, but he uses the Liberal Party controlled bureaucracy to keep his effeminate ass in office and out of jail.
