They had not declared war on the working class yet in the eighties. My old man voted socialist. He would never vote for the NDP today. Any blue collar worker that does needs a kick in the ass.
I remember the mid to late 80's as being the start of power grabs by authoritarians. It was a good decade, mostly, but it set the stage for the 90's, which led to 2001, and we've all been fucked ever since.
There is no problem a government can cause that they won't immediately offer a remedy for.
Wars on drugs, poverty, terror, diseases... all self made wars done by elitist pricks who want most of us dead or in a manageable population of feudal servants.
So fuck Government. Fuck authorities. And fuck anybody who takes a pay check from them to "just following ordes".
