Bushfires suck donkey's bollocks...
Every day any of my coworkers and I are trying to reclaim a years or decades old washed out overgrown track with mega landslips and mudslides (thank Greenie Policies since year 2000), I feel a sense of fulfilment and pride... because we're actually doing something to stop people, habitat, and animals from being burned alive.
The pay is OK... not that great... but fuck me running, it's a crash course that should take decades... and I've only been there for 10 months. I love it.
When I clear kilometres of fire hazard 2-3 metres across, I fucking feel good.
