Something bad has been coming for a long time. It will continue to do so if we do not change course soon.

I am talking about unsustainable public and private debt. Profligate spending and a shrinking base to extract more taxes from while those who are receiving public money keeps growing.

Argentina used to be a very wealthy nation too. Prosperity is not our birth right. We have to keep working at it. What happened to that South American nation can happen to Canada and European countries too. We are given more rope to hang ourselves than some countries, but we can still commit suicide slowly.

I dunno...

Big changes are coming, that's not in doubt.
How will people react? That's an open question.

Their reaction will be based on how the changes will affect them.

People migrate immediately to weapons or fortifications when they get this bee in their bonnets.

Perhaps, it might get you down the road initially... but if that's all you got, you're dying in a breakdown situation.

No clean water, ready supply of food, fuel, or even shelter if you're in an area you thought was immune to strife or calamity.... and with being prepared.

There are no guarantees..

Even if you get all the checkmarks in your beast/man castles, who's to say a 100-250 foot wall of water doesn't suddenly crush your spines or asphyxiate youse.

It's the luck of the draw.

Keep the basic items our ancestors kept until the 21st century. Learn how to use and rely on them. Learn to be happy with less. Run away without remorse from the trappings of wealth or position the moment you feel that tingling in your spine and mind.

It's about our kids...families... none of that other shit matters.

If you don't already know, learn how to grow food and how to forage in your area of the world.

No matter which way the wheel turns that's a skill set that will always come in handy.

People that form communities survive. People that think they will barricade themselves off from the world wont make it unless they are completely self sustained. Thats real difficult to do. You're gonna have to barter with someone.

Make a plan. Have at least a weeks worth of water. Have a reliable weapon and ammo that you're proficient with. Dont resort to violence quickly or the other natives will murder you. Water filtration is a good idea. A 30 day supply of non perishable food is a good idea. Decide now if you are going to shelter in place or bug out immediately. If you will shelter in place, make friends with like minded people.

It really depends on your life situation just how much you can prepare. The first 2 months, people are going to die on a scale never seen before.

And hide yourself.... be humble. Don't look like prey. Be a bum..

Never advertise what you're doing, where you're going, or what you have.

People are animals in extremely circumstances. Don't be their prey.

The West has fallen into the hands of the WEF. Life will keep getting worse. I'm soooo fucking glad we're getting out of here before Canada turns into a Venezuela.

I expected it to come 15 years ago and I am still waiting.

It blows my mind it hasn't happened yet.

I am taking one day as it comes and I am doing a bad job of it because the past 3 years I had 3 major health problems that wasted 6 months out of every year.

I'm putting in a 7500 watt solar system which is completely independent of the normal electrical system and completely detached from the grid

 I'm wiring most of my most costly appliances ie hottub system, pool pump, septic and well pump to this autonomous layout in a permanent fashion with the ability to switch back to the main breaker at the endpoint in a pinch.

this way the Gov cant tell me shit. I'll both save on monthly costs AND have an independent system which I can rewire rather quickly in a pinch.

Smaller solar systems to power my deep freezers, frig and computer gear.

Well stocked on food with over a years worth and growing. Well stocked on ammo, mags and a wide variety of semi automatics and handguns plus a few shotguns and 4 people in the house trained to shoot. 15,000 rounds of assorted ammo.

50 gallons of water plus solar powered purification systems which I can pull water right out of the lake adjacent to my property. And there's always 24,000 gallons of pool water which can be purified if shit really gets bad.

120 gallons of treated gas and 20 20lb propane canisters plus cases of those little burners they use under hot trays (I forget what they called but I picked them up in Sams club)

Dozens of containers of lighter fluid and about a dozen trees on my property and some quality axes to get them chopped down. 3 bbq grills including one hibachi flat top (stainless steel). wood burning pizza oven and a wide variety of other burners which can use wood or even those small propane cans of which I have at least 3 dozen.

Yeah, I'm as ready as one can be for when shit goes down. Alot of that came out of hurricane prep due to where I live obviously but it'll due for the apocalypse too

I see the political parties as Advertising Brands (Democrat, Republican, Liberal or Conservative Party) and their candidates as Media Creations (Obama, Trump, Biden, etc).

They become more like distractions than people who are really important and matter in your life.

They're not Gods.

You have to read all the stories from all sides, try to interpret them as best you can and find a balanced objective opinion.

It's really difficult to know who's telling the truth anymore because each side is full of spin. They spin events and stories their way in an effort to persuade people that they are right.
