Cornell Law professor calls to invoke 25th Amendment after Biden's debate performance

After President Biden's weak debate performance Thursday night, Cornell Law Professor William Jacobson called for the 25th Amendment to be invoked.

It is nearly impossible to remove Biden using the 25th.

Saying it is a lot easier than actually removing Biden from office.

Biden or anyone else.
The system protects itself first and foremost. That's why none of them have even gotten a whiff of a chance they'd be brought up on charges of crimes against humanity (Bush's wars, Obama's drone program, etc.) or corruption (wall street bailouts, vaccine mandates, etc.).

Protecting any specific office holder is incidental... it's the *institution* of the executive office that has been encased in a cocoon of impunity and immunity from legal consequences. The closest to accountability we still have is impeachment and that's still allowed because there's no criminal component; it's legally non-binding from a law enforcement perspective.

No matter what else they try to charge Trump with it will never be something he did while acting as president. If they cross that Rubicon they'll ALL be vulnerable and that won't be allowed to happen.
