Democrats have given Trump so much free press you'd have to be a rock spider living on a remote desolate island not to know who he is at this point. He doesn't need donors to win.

All he needs observable reality and for harris to get out there and campaign her ass off. He could literally have himself freeze dried Like Walt Disney between now and the election and it wouldn't make a scooby of a difference on the outcome.

I said it would be a signal that they aren't serious about winning in November.

There are relatively few big money donors. They can throw all the money at a sinking ship but unless the democrats can convince REAL PEOPLE to vote for that ship it's headed for the bottom of the ocean anyway.

...maybe the Democrats should stop worrying about winning than just breathe a sigh of relief that they can get at least a reasonable facsimile of a candidate who's healthy, can speak in complete sentences, can remember what they said, doesn't have Alzheimer's, doesn't say 'Vice-President Trump' and is reasonably acceptable to the average American voter.

So maybe they should just concentrate on holding their own in other races like the Senate & the House. And if they actually win the WH, consider it a bonus - a miracle actually even tho it may be a long shot.

Relative to what could have been (landslide victory for Trump/wipeout at polls and Electoral Collage Armageddon) at least Biden withdrawing from the race is a step in the right direction for them.

They need a younger slate of candidates that would also attract younger voters, women & minorities.
