The delegate Zoom call will happen some time between tomorrow and August 7th.

If she gets nominated in the roll call vote they're probably stuck with her. The convention in Chicago will only be a public reaffirmation of the Zoom call result.

In her bid for president in 2020 she could barely scrape together 1% of the black vote. Elizabeth Warren outperformed her with 8% of the black vote, while Bernie Sanders managed 16%. She is, simply put, about as popular as a fart in a spacesuit, but the Democrats are out of options and due to election law would be effectively handing so many states to the Republicans if they anointed anyone else that they have to choose her. Or indulge in even more blatant election fraud than they did in 2020 and hope the lapdog media can effectively sell it as "democracy" to a disgruntled public.
