Please, feel free, to use a ladder to scale a wall... but ask yourself this.... Do I even need a fucking ladder?
You'll be better off in life to question yourself first, than begging others first off.
Push your limits before acquiescing.
Believe in yourself before believing you need help.

This was the first vinyl album that I owned. An iconic album. The other was Rodriguez Cold Fact. Both albums (1971 releases) got me through my college years in the early 90's back in a time of political unrest to the extreme. It was also a time where I nearly got torn apart from one of Nelson Mandela's bombs. The music just gave me a rhythmic beat in my soul and a tenacious grip on life itself.

If we're talking vinyl, mine was Ultravox's Rage In Eden, a christmas present one year from my grandparents which I suspect they had been convinced by some sales clerk was "what the kids were into these days". I already had a fairly extensive tape collection by that point which included a couple of Kraftwerk albums which shared the same production credits (Conny Plank) so it wasn't totally out of the wheelhouse for me.
If we're talking albums in general though, shit... my collection started when I was about four years old and remembering the order the tapes arrived in my hot little hand is hazy. But I do remember receiving a blank cassette somewhere around that time and petitioning my father to make a copy of King Crimson's In The Court Of The Crimson King for me.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QfWXHVBl44A
Not as accessible as 'Tull perhaps, though the musicianship ranks right up there, especially in a head to head comparison with something like Thick As A Brick (which I also ended up getting along with Aqualung a few years later). Can't say I've caught any Rodriguez... I might have to do something about that.

My first vinyl, when I too was around 4 years old, was a 7-single, Don Gibson's "Sea Of Heartbreak" given to me by my grandmother.
Also, Rodriguez had two albums, "Cold Fact" and "Coming from reality".
I've met Rodriguez in person and had a couple laughs with him. We knocked back a few red wines together.

Well I left my parents home at 18 years old and refurbished a one-room abandoned shack as my new home....I had a bent over nail as a means to keep the door shut. 200m away a black woman was brutally raped, chopped up and shoved down the toilet, bit by bit, by two black males. The police arrived on the scene after being alerted by nearby neighbours of the commotion and screams. The men had blocked the S-bend with a part of the victims forearm and upper arm at the elbow.
That was only a part of my overall experience with violence.
How did it affect me? I learnt how to fight lethally, handle weapons and avoid unnecessary confrontation. I'm able to identify a potential bad situation before it has even happened.

This is why I love it here in Singapore. It's super safe and clean.

More and more each day, people with some common sense are realising the amount of chaos and disorder these Libtard governments are having on their respective countries. And for some, with regard to illegal immigration or immigrants that have not been processed properly, irreversible damage for generations to come.
A progressively sad state of affairs that only a catastrophic event or a New World Order could possibly change.

I've actually watched a documentary on them. It sounded like the government was making threats to treat them like rebels, plus, they're land locked.
I think if the whites had negotiated to end apartheid for a land mass at least the size of Lesotho, that would have been viable.

Nobody would want one particular place. For example, most British South Africans prefer coastal lands, whilst the Dutch South Africans (Afrikaners) tend to prefer inland for farming.
A non-corruptible government would make some difference, but unfortunately the black South Africans see communist as a solution.
For the past 30 years, the blacks have run the country into the dirt, and those in power only think of themselves and not the nation as a whole.

I get a chuckle out of that line in the Stevie Wonder song "Master Blaster (Jammin)" - specifically the one about "peace has come to Zimbabwe". Whatever you want to say about Ian Smith, the country was a lot more prosperous and content under his leadership than it ever was under that pigfucker Robert Mugabe.
Yet another example of socialism utterly destroying a society.
I was there for that bullshit too. Murder happening all around me.
During the land re-appropriation "kill the farmer" saga back in 2000, Mugabe was going to take-over a relative's farm of three generations, including the designated land made available by my relatives for three generations of black staff and their families. An Australian citizen, me, going into Zimbabwe in 2000 during severe political unrest, armed with firearms illegally (not registered to me) and pretending to be Zimbabwean, to give my relatives a window of opportunity to plead their case to the Australian government and gain refugee status into Australia.
Job done! They got refugee status...and for white people, that's almost unheard of. The blacks were kicked off the land and left destitute by Mugabe's henchmen and the previously sustaining farm for so many people, destroyed and left to go to ruin. Everything my relatives couldn't take with them, was stolen. Including the farm obviously!
I have massive testicles to do what I did, even if I have to say so myself. And I'd do it again if family were ever threatened by terrorism.
People like Mugabe and Mandela disgust me.
Open your eyes people. Enjoy your freedoms...

Are you kidding? They're more content to park their carcass in a chair and let someone else lie them into abject stupidity. Why do you think so many of them have yet to twig to the fundamental lie that is Socialism?
Rhodesia was hung out to dry by the same snake oil salesmen class currently attempting to flush the US down the toilet. Rhodesia was a meritocracy, you had to prove your worth to even vote. And it wasn't a black versus white thing, there being plenty of examples of whites which weren't afforded the vote as well and the locals were predominantly in Camp Happy at the arrangement. Internationally however, the arguments of it being a racial struggle were definitely getting trotted out on the regular and sanctions were in place against them. While communist interests supplied groups like Mugabe's ZANU via South Africa.
Looking at footage of what it was like in the seventies as opposed to now, there's a world of difference and it all boils down to the pretenders who claim to go after the tippy tops in the name of equity. And it's the same every time this play gets made. "From each according to their abilities to each according to their needs" is an open invitation for rampant corruption to take root and those with ability fleeing the neighbbourhood (just look at California). What's left? Ohhh, poverty and a bunch of lazy and incompetent assclowns wallowing in their own filth... a socialist wet dream turned pig sty under its own hubris.
