OllieTheir choices, including what they can invest in, are limited.
Plus the whole system is rigged against them because they have no freedom.
The news including the market information they get...is crap.
The government there can get away with anything it wants.
Geez, no wonder all these countries have started exiting out of China & sending their manufacturing elsewhere.

Way I see China is it peaked as an economic model being merely the largest or most populous market in the world albeit under a totalitarian dictatorship.
If they truly want to take their nation & economy to another level with meaningful change, the only was is by becoming a true democracy with real multiparty elections. That's in a perfect world.
But of course those in power they are reluctant to let that happen so its unlikely to occur anytime soon. Probably not in our lifetimes.
So they'll continue to trudge on as this spotty autocratic behemoth unless the Chinese population rises up to overthrow the CPP or they implode 1 day.
If they truly want to take their nation & economy to another level with meaningful change, the only was is by becoming a true democracy with real multiparty elections. That's in a perfect world.
