The probability of Oak owning property are about as high as her having a conservative partner.
Murdock, like Dove is just some usless white trash waste of skin who conned a guy with property to let her move in. When the property is gone, she will be gone. So, that will be his silver lining in this dark cloud.

Murdy acquired whatever modest wealth she can lay claim to through marital theft and death of people who both happen to share her DNA and basically had no where else to dump their estates.
She inherited the little shit shack by the water she lives in and were it not for the overly inflated prices of the area would be of little to no value

Yeah... lots of insurers dropped their clients a few months back -- pulling out of the state entirely
This is going to have huge implications on the housing market over there. If there is no one to insure there will be no lenders willing to underwrite mortgage with such significant risks
and without lenders there are no buyers and without buyers guess what happens to what is normally a sellers market?

Real estate was ridiculously overinflated out there anyway. These fires done burst that bubble right quick. We'll see how this plays out, but my guess is a lot of people will just leave rather than rebuild. Lots will hit the market for cheap when these owners decide to migrate out and shed their property deeds.
They'll all get scooped out by developers on the cheap and the hold outs will be litigated against, so as to build back better.

You cant shoot yourself in the face and ask me to feel sorry for you. Her ex husband put the kids through college. That's why she stayed married for so long before divorcing. So her daughter (from a different man she was with before her ex husband...he isn't involved so her ex stepped up and fathered the girl) could continue to get the tuition benefits.
She definitely stayed married for financial reasons. For a while there she was unemployed and struggled to find a new position. The firm she worked for years closed or she was laid off or terminated...i don't really remember exactly. I think it was the attorney she worked for retired or something like that. She didn't stay with him after they divorced. She was still married when she slept with HFB...and he had a common law wife he had kids with. Her ex served her with divorce papers through their son. It was a mess.
She stayed in her marriage for financial reasons. When I separated from my ex the first time, she was passionately advising me to stay married for financial reasons and just have affairs until my youngest was grown

You can't believe anything those two white trash ho bags Mergecock and Duv say about anybody, especially men.
Fires have burned through 36,000 acres in Los Angeles County, destroyed or damaged over 10,000 buildings, displaced tens of thousands of residents, and claimed the lives of at least 10 people. By midday Friday, the California Department of Forestry and Fire protections indicated that only 3% of the Eaton fire, 35% of the Kenneth fire, 37% of the Hurst fire, and 8% of the Pacific Palisades fire had been contained.
While seemingly unstoppable, the Palisades fire, which began on Tuesday and has devoured homes, businesses, schools, and other structures alike, appears to have left the Palisades Village, an outdoor mall developed by Rick Caruso, largely untouched, reported SF Gate.
It appears the mall may have survived because Caruso, the former president of the Department of Water and Power who unsuccessfully ran for mayor in 2022, did not leave the structure's fate up to the city, whose mayor, Karen Bass, has been gallivanting around Africa and whose fire department recently had its budget cut while prioritizing diversity over quality.
According to the New York Times, Caruso had a team of private firefighters deployed in the area Tuesday night to protect the mall, which he owns, as well as nearby houses.
Caruso criticized the city for dropping the ball on infrastructure, particularly on water supply.
Within hours of the fire's initial spread, the first two of three one-million gallon municipal storage tanks that supply water to the hydrants in Pacific Palisades and other communities were depleted. The third was reportedly drained by Wednesday morning.
California's progressive policies emphasize ideology over lifesaving solutions. The destruction will persist until voters hold their elected officials accountable.
The US is no stranger to natural disasters. But it's not the fires, floods, or earthquakes that are the most devastating — it's the repeated failures to learn from them, prevent them, and take responsibility for the damage.

The absolutely crazy part is they will vote for him again after they lost everything due to his rigid ideological policies.

Water doesn't come out of local fire hydrants but they will happily blame trump
California voters are so upset that come election time they're going to throw out all the old democrats and replace them with new democrats.

I don't know, but maybe they need to hit bottom before they realize they need to stop voting for bad policy.
I agree that California voters should not be let off the hook for the fires. They put progs like Newsom in office.
This commentary comes to us from fire expert John Steele.
"Fabrications linking rising CO2 to wildfires should be ignored. Governments must employ solutions that will truly protect people and their property from the unstoppable, natural conditions enabling devastating fires," says Steele, former director of San Francisco State University's Sierra Nevada Field Campus.
The region's Mediterranean climate features dry summers and a winter "rainy season" that averages only six days of precipitation a month. This year, an abundance of dry brush, grasses and fallen limbs combined with hurricane-force Santa Ana winds emanating from natural cycles of the Pacific Ocean to fuel and spread devastating conflagrations.
While winter rains temporarily make the natural fuels resistant to fire, relative humidity that can dip below 10% transforms vegetation to kindling within a few hours.
Among policy failures that may have contributed to the severity of the fires are the following:
Failure to manage the accumulation of brush and other fuel
Failure to provide adequate water supplies for firefighting
Reductions in firefighting budgets

you had a total DEI hire like Karen Bass bad mouthing Ted cruz (Who has ZERO control over local municipalities) for being on a planned trip in Mexico at a time Texas was weathering a disaster
but here - people refuse to call her to account for both her words against him which was basically tantamount to spitting in the sky AND the fact that she is the person who HAS control over her city's resources and IS directly responsible for the policies which left them under equipped to handle this situation AAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDDD abandoned her constituents during this time of crisis to go make herself look good in some foreign country
And these people want to talk to me about excel spreadsheet felonies? Maaaaan they can go fuck themselves with any left over studs which didn't fully disintegrate in that fire.
My heart goes out to every MAGA loving person over there. The rest? Can go fuck themselves. I don't give a shit what they lost

The people at the bottom in California must first stop listening to the people at the top.
And speaking of idiots at the top in the Golden State. Jimmy Kimmel, the eternally woke and predictably tearful late night TV host once again put his hatred for Donald Trump on display for a nationwide audience Monday night.
"Tonight, I don't want to get into all the vile and irresponsible and stupid things our alleged future president and his gaggle of scumbags chose to say during our darkest and most terrifying hour," Kimmel told a revved-up crowd. "The fact that they chose to attack our firefighters who currently aren't white enough to be out there risking their lives on our behalf ... it's disgusting, but it's not surprising."
Good way to spread the hate and racism Jimmy. Did he cry for North Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. The sad thing is he still thinks he can deflect the blame to Trump (who isn't even inaugurated) from the people in power in California who are responsible for years of squandered resources, and years of failed policies.
Kimmel is a supertard.

Cost of rebuilding skyrockets to more than $250 billionAs the devastation of California's wildfires rages on, the cost of rebuilding keeps going up as well, though few could have ever imagined a price tag like this.
AccuWeather reports that the cost of rebuilding is expected to be between $250 billion and $275 billion.
Part of the enormous cost estimate is accounting for the fact that the Palisades Fire, burning near Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Santa Monica, is torching some of the most expensive real estate in the country, AccuWeather explains.
"These fast-moving, wind-driven infernos have created one of the costliest wildfire disasters in modern U.S. history," AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Jonathan Porter said. "Hurricane-force winds sent flames ripping through neighborhoods filled with multi-million-dollar homes. The devastation left behind is heartbreaking, and the economic toll is staggering."
The extent of the devastation remains fluid, however, as even more dangerous fire conditions are expected to hit Southern California on Wednesday.

I'm not surprised Ollie that this could be the most expensive disaster in American history.
I read California cops have arrested 4 suspects accused of committing arson in 4 separate alleged incidents.

Palisades home that survived fire destroyed by mudslide A hillside home overlooking the Pacific Ocean that survived the devastating Palisades Fire has split in half from what appears to be a mud and debris slide directly behind the property. It's unclear exactly when the incident in the 17000 block of Castellammare Drive occurred, but the property is now one of 10,000 structures destroyed as a result of the costliest wildfire in the history of Los Angeles County.
