Also, I was reading the US deficit is supposed to keep falling(less than 2% of GDP) until about 2019. At that point social security payments will cause it to rise again. I can't believe anyone would give Obongo credit for anything on the fiscal side. He doesn't know what he's doing and it shows. If it wasn't for the shale oil and gas boom, he would look like the inept clown he is.

He's a Rhino thru and thru. As far as a true conservative goes; there will be very little to choose from. Rand Paul or possibly Ted Cruz will be about the only viable conservative candidates in the pack. Rick Santorum is once again making noise like he might seek the nomination....again; But he is too much of a wacko "bible thumper" to have any kind of mass appeal.
My hope is who ever gets the nomination has enough political sense to pick a Hispanic running mate like Marco Rubio or if not a Hispanic, then a woman like Condi Rice.

The GOP establishment always throws their resources behind the establishment candidate, so I owuld be surprised if Jeb is NOT the nominee. I agree the GOP just has to have a Hispanic running mate. I read the GOP needs to get about 40% of the Hispanic vote in order to win the White House.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a slur against religious people. It's just that in the US most of the mainstream voters like our religion and our politics kept separate. It's only the far right that thinks it's okay to mix the two.

I am apolitical, so I can understand that..
My husband and I don't vote Renee..
We feel that politics is putting our faith in man instead of God, so for that reason we steer clear of it..
We do not want to impose God on a secular public.

In Canada, we have the religious far left. In particular, the United Church of Canada is an extreme leftist socialist organization masquerading as a church. From demonizing Israel to opposing building more infrastructure for our oil, they are the NDP at prayer.

I like a lot of his views, Allen West also would be another.
I would vote Rand Paul, there has to be better though.

He has never held elected office though. Prez is not an entry level job. I don't want to compare a brilliant mind like Ben Carson with the likes of Obongo, but we have seen what happens when the unqualified are in the White House.
