Because the government here would do its utmost to prevent children from being homeless. Even if it was a conservative right wing government theyd do the same cuz the public blowback would be immense. It would be an embarrassment
Funny thing the guv here will gladly allow single me to starve freeze & even die on the streets but not women with children eh?
If a woman gits pregnant pops out a Kid here it guarantees them welfare & a home of some kind.

They had space at the shelter but the idiocracy types that work for nanny gubs were too fuckin stupid to get em the help they had available!!!
