Horror as female tourist's hands are bitten off by shark yards from Caribbean beach after she 'tried to engage the 6ft predator to take a picture'
A tourist has been savagely attacked by a shark off a Caribbean beach, with reports that the victim lost both her hands as her husband tried to fight the beast off.
The woman, believed to be a Canadian national, had been enjoying a holiday to the Turks and Caicos islands when the bloody attack happened last Friday.
She was just a few yards from the shore when the predator struck, according to local media.
The 55-year-old had been wading in the shallows as she 'attempted to engage' with the animal and take a picture of it, local authorities said.

There are many, many facebook and youtube videos showing "shark whisperers," who go up to big sharks and pull out hooks they have swallowed and all these idiot comments praising sharks and how intelligent and gentle they are and then there are very few of us who warn people this is a really stupid thing to do.
Having your hands cut off would be your life over. No longer could you use a toilet on your own, wash your body or hold a cup of tea.
This story is incredibly sad and her story should be told as a warning to fools who think they can friend a shark.
Darwin Award Nominee.
My dads mom and dad and the fam saw some dumb asshole try to feed a grizzly and get his head literally knocked off his shoulders by the bear. I learned that we should "murder" the furry woodland creatures at an early age. I will kill ANYTHING I see as a threat. At the same fucking time, I'll keep my distance....cause I aint fukin stupid.
Oh, and consider this: those of you who would call me a pussy, I'd shoot through you to "murder" that woodland creature if it had ahold of you. At that point, you're aborted fetal tissue to me.
If you're happy and you know it clap your... uh...
I'm still trying to figure out how the hell she managed to lose both hands.

I don't blame her entirely. These days people are misled and there are these retards thinking they can save sharks and because at one time some species were approaching extinction they went mad about preserving sharks and saving them from the shark fin soup pot.. but when all said and done, they are just dangerous bloody fish.
Not a fan here, not a fan.

We eat it like crazy in Southern Australian coastal areas. When we are fishing and catching it, we're slicing it up and letting it swim behind the boat till the ammonia leaves. It's a technique.
Shark cartilage is really good for joint pain & people with arthritis or recovering from injuries

The TGA banned shark cartilage supplements in Australia in the early 2000's.
I know this because I was boning a chick in an admin position who knew of customers that should have been terminal and dying 5-10 years before from cancers.
When the TGA did that, tens of thousands died.

The chick I was fucking told me that she had long time customers getting orders filled when they should have been dead years ago... then the TGA banned supplements and her business owner went into overtime to supply max cartilage before the cut off.

Yeah I think shark cartilage has medicinal qualities
Other one that is underestimated is alligator or crocodile blood. But it has been known to kill hiv in lab tests and a whole host of diseases. It was quite possibly a better deterrent against covid than the vaccines. Thailand it is regularly available & its covid rates were lower than neighboring vountries
But i think big pharma never develops it because it is so effective
Australia has a rich supply of it as well as camels. Camel milk goid for many ailments too but it is also suppressed

Tobacco killed covid too.

Maybe pure tobacco grown and harvested directly from the plant. Not sure about the manufactured kind found in cigarettes tho
I saw a video which claimed Australia has fruits unique to its continent that improve eyesight
I have poor eyesight so maybe I should look into it

But why wouldn't any animal cartilage work? Why just shark?
Fish and chip shops used to have gummy shark and bronze whaler.
I have eaten plenty of shark.
